Nice pics, I used to fly out of KSQL and used to love flying the "Bay Tour". Or flying over to KHAF and walking to Barbara's Fish Trap... now closed I understand.

Thanks all, it's a frame rate killer, but it's just barely flyable.

Stunning!  I was suspecting it was a FR killer and was interested to see your statement, but still worth a visit now and then to be sure.

Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

Very nice pics.  Exactly what add is that please?

Aerosoft US Cities X San Francisco if I'm not mistaken.

Beautiful to look at, but impossible to fly in or out. It's a slideshow at best

Thanks crash for the warning.  Guess I will pass on this one.

Great pics, Rob. I really wanted to get this one but after "Crashdive's comments I guess I will have to save up for a new computer.

I didn't fully optimize my CFG to run this city but it would drop to 10 fps even with clear skies and only a 6.5 LOD  ... it's actually not as bad a Aerosoft US CitiesX Los Angeles in terms of FPS.  These aren't AutoGen objects ... I believe if you use the installers AutoGen option rather than the Custom 3D buildings option you will see much higher frame rates -- but, I haven't actually tested this yet so I don't know.  My AutoGen density is set to 5 (which I think is the max).

BUT, the first thing I'll do with P3D V2.0 is load this city up and see if/how it works ... it'll be a good test.

Great shots.  For me FPS is really not as much of an issue as stuttering (and I have a quite old machine). Apparently there's a couple of "experimental" files in the default install that can be removed for better performance and supposedly not that much less eye candy.

It was one of their first US Cities X products and it's kind a disappointing that even though the city area is one of the smallest among the big US cities (being surrounded by water on 3 sides), they didn't include western or southern parts of the city.

It'd be nice if there was an Extended version...

Yeah, that is a shame ... I'm guessing they didn't bother doing western or southern parts when they got down to measuring performance in terms of "seconds per frame" :)

Oddly I didn't have a stuttering problem with San Francisco, but I sure did have a stuttering problem with Los Angeles.  But the fps was inconsistent, sometimes 10 fps sometimes 25 fps but no stutters in San Francisco.  But also have to keep in mind I had FB/FSDT KSFO and KLAX active.
