Oh cool, so all the tiles are up now - obviously.    How many torrent files is that?  I have only got 8 and wondering how many left?  A lot if they are only a few gb at a time.

All in all, there are 73 ZIP files at the moment (summing up to 55,6 Gbytes).

Thanks for that, the dropbox collection is good, I popped them all in to my client and the speed changes now and then but it has not gone below 10MB/s.

 

   Looks like the torrents are chugging along nicely.

Since I last posted about an hour ago all 55 gigs except one zone that cant be seeded well has come down.   Nice work to all involved in doing the seeding.

I have finally given the new mesh a try yesterday.

 

I can only say that it is a stunning improvement. I am very familiar with the way that many parts of Europe look after flying roughly 8000 hours over it - and with this new mesh I can look down and I know immediately where I am, just from the look of the terrain and it´s features!

 

I recently spotted a cool looking airport in the mountain range between Spain and France on a flight from Barcelona to Duesseldorf. I jotted down the coordinates and decided to fly there in X-Plane. Did so yesterday, and it looked every bit as it did from the air - one of those crazy mesa-top airports.

New textures are great.  Orthophotos draped over the new mesh are quite stunning as well.

 

 

Looks quite good ... and to my knowledge, SimHeaven is working on an update of his photoscenery offering to (to use HD Mesh v2 with it).
