That's great. Unfortunately I'm having a lot of problems with flightsim.com - for the 3rd time I've tried to download +60-150, a 1.5GB file, and it's told me the download has finished under 1GB. Hopefully the torrents will be slowly picking up the slack.

 

I'm now seeding the one tile I've downloaded on my 100mbit connection so hopefully that'll help.

Erm, actually haven't added any files, just going to keep my connection open to seed the tiles others have already put up.

Also using a separate download utility lets me pause and resume downloads, so if the connection fails with just a few MB remaining I (hopefully) won't have wasted 2.4 GB and 13+ hours.

Could you kindly point me to this utility?  So far the experience is nothing but frustration.  I left the download to proceed overnight, only to find out that the connection closed from the site and I only got half which render the zip file corrupted and the whole thing wasted.  I only try to download one piece at 2.3 GB and so far no success.  I don't mind paying the 30 bucks but I rather give it to Andras.  Beside what is the speed available for full membership?  I don't know if it's better and if the connection keep dropping it will be always be a waste.  I tried using Orbit downloader and it does not work with this site's format.

Thanks for setting up the torrents, they are very much perfect solution for low budget distribution for large amounts of data. Downloading now and will attempt to seed them as much as possible. :smile:

My question was/still is ,could anyone advise or explain to me please, I fly mainly photoscenery UK, would I gain anything at all by using this new software?

Tonywob did answer that question earlier on page 2, but to repeat: In X-plane, photoscenery includes a mesh in itself, which usually is just the default mesh that comes with xplane 10 unless otherwise stated (simheaven photoscenery have special versions of their scenery which use HD mesh v.1 by Andras). So no, you will not see HD mesh if you have installed photoscenery in that area, until that photoscenery is remade to use the HD mesh v.2.

I got a few of the NA regions. Ill try to add to the torrents. However, a bunch of them came in corrupt and its the 2nd or 3rd time Ive downloaded them.  So far, +40=080, +40-090, +40-100, +40-110, all seem corrupt.

 

About 4 or 5 others, I got were all good.
