December 7, 201312 yr Got bored and did repaint of the Carenado 182T cockpit... Took all the best (and worst?) design cues of old GA aircraft cockpits and mashed them into the 182T cockpit.. Now that sterile modern day cockpit has a little personality and flair of the good days gone past. Browns! Plaid! Blue carpet! Wood paneling! December 8, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the nice words. It gets a bit repetitive when the interiors of your livery collection all look the same. Nice to have some variety in the airborn office ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
December 8, 201312 yr Awesome, it's like you ran out of remodeling money after the avionics went in. Nah, it's just Glass Cockpit with Wood Trim...looks brilliant though...I wish the 172 I fly looked anything close like that Charan KumarFSX/XPX vPilotVATSIM ZOA and Oceanic Controller (Pacific) Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. December 10, 201312 yr Author Just a heads up.. This is now in the file library. I skipped doing the panel from the exterior view. ie: It will look grey still from spot/chase etc.. You would really have to open the doors and look to even notice. It was easy to do, a bit time consuming considering what needed to be done though and I just didn't see the point for such a minor detail.. Search for "CT182T Skylane retro cockpit repaint" to be taken right to it.
