December 20, 201312 yr My fave all time FlyTampa airport, and I fly hear literally once or twice per week.... ...... but, I love the airport as it is, and I'm worried that performance will drop with this update (as happened with TNCM), so may just stick with what I have.
December 20, 201312 yr Author Wish they released KSEA for FSX... Fly Tampa is really good with surprises. My only concern is the Seattle area is a bit slow on FPS. I currently have ORBX. To make KSEA more realistic, I downloaded the free AFCAD from one of the best freeware contributors, Ray Smith. December 20, 201312 yr An awesome day! My all time favourite FS airport in a new version. Dave, I've noticed no performance drop. What are you waiting for?

Just try it and if it doesn't perform to your specs just uninstall and re-run the original installer. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Dave. The big issue for frame rate drop with the new TNCM was the AI ships. In the previous FSX version Martin used FSX traffic route compiling for the AI ships, so if you were using FS9 based AI (such as WOAI) they didn't show up anyway and thus they never had a hit on the frame rate. In the new version Martin switched it to FS9 compiled routes and now they show up. Look midway down in this post... http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6398&start=14 In short, disabling the AI ships got rid of the frame rate issues for me. Al Stiff

Dave, I was a tiny bit worried myself, although Martin's sceneries are always very good performers, at least on my middle aged system. The new version looks absolutely stunning if you're running FTX Global!!! I installed it and it performs flawlessly. Give it a try, at worst case you can uninstall and reinstall the previous version.
