December 28, 201312 yr Hi All, I'm thinking of adding an airbus to my hanger and was considering either the airbus x extended or the black box airbus prologue. Just wondering what your thoughts are on either of these birds, which is better ? December 28, 201312 yr For longer discussions see the threads Brent linked. In short (I do not own the BBS one, though): if you want a finished product (which will still get some additional features as free updates as the development of the smaller Airbusses progresses), the Aerosoft Airbus X (Extended) is the way to go. If you don't mind paying quite a lot of money for a not (yet) finished product, which might have a longer feature list though, you could also go for the BBS Airbus. However, I believe that the opinion of most simmers is that the AXE is currently the best option availble. Florian
December 28, 201312 yr My vote goes for the BBS, as mentioned it is a WIP, but so far it is the best airbus simulation on the market. Add to it, you also get the whole range from A318 to A321 (although the A321 has not been released yet, I suspect it will be part of the next update).
December 28, 201312 yr Moderator Airbus extended for $30 at the flightsimstore.com is a bargain. If you buy it from other vendors how do you get any updates for it? Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
December 28, 201312 yr If you buy it from other vendors how do you get any updates for it? The easiest way is to go to Aerosoft's support site and register it there. Sign in, click on to register a new product. Enter your e-mail and serial key and you've got full access to any update. http://support.aerosoft.com/support.php?language=en Regards,Kyle
December 28, 201312 yr I would vote for the AXE. For $30 its a great deal. I bought the axe to start learning about the airbus in hopes that the fsl airbus will come out in the near future.
December 28, 201312 yr If you buy it from other vendors how do you get any updates for it? Just download the latest installer from flightsimstore.com Kimo
