January 30, 201412 yr I'm reluctant to grab every new driver release that comes out since many have given me headaches, but I've read that this may be a desirable version to be running. Any experience good or bad with this version? Thanks! January 30, 201412 yr Author I been using the 332.21 without any problems. I have a EVGA GTX 670 4GB Have you tried reducing your SGSS setting? One fellow here was claiming he was getting better AA with 2XSGSS then he did with 4XSGSS on his previous driver version! That would sure motivate me to move! [email protected] - ROG Strix Z790-E - 2X16Gb G.Skill Trident DDR5 6400 CL32 - MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X - WD SN850X 2 TB M.2 - XPG S70 Blade 2 TB M.2 - MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold PSU - Liam Li 011 Dynamic Razer case - 58" Panasonic TC-58AX800U 4K - Pico 4 VR HMD - WinWing HOTAS Orion2 MAX - ProFlight Pedals - TrackIR 5 - W11 Pro (Passmark:12574, CPU:63110-Single:4785, GPU:50688)
January 30, 201412 yr Well the sparklee pixies are gone with the 332.21 driver using 2x Sparse SS AND having 2x AA set in the fixer. Still prefer 4x Sparse SS along with 8X CSAA.

January 30, 201412 yr 331.82 works fine, too - and yes - I do like 2x SGSS, as long as LOD bias is used to correct any blurring. pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

January 31, 201412 yr Author Update: Probably just me but I upgraded to this driver and 5 minutes into my test flight I noticed an issue. Flying over the water of San Fransisco bay, I noticed a very funky (bad) swirling pattern on the water's surface texture. Almost like Z-fighting or a moiré pattern. Did not like it! They've definitely made changes to the SGSS algorithm - apparently mostly for the better as 2XSGSS was pretty darn good - but something isn't working with my water (default with DX10 fixer). I went back to my old reliable (318.20 IIRC) and all was well again. Hmmmm.... Oh well. January 31, 201412 yr I am using 332.21 and its so smooth like i never have seen it before. Dont think is pure placebo B) . I am using 4XSGSS and 4X in the DX10 fixer. Should i try 8XCSAA in the Fixer ? Whats the benefit ? Thanks Michael Michael Moe
January 31, 201412 yr Commercial Member I reformatted last weekend and I am using 332.21 with 8XSGSS/-1.5LOD and 16XCSAA in Fixer with no issue on 780GTX. - Jordan Jafferjee - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | Asus X670-E Pro Prime | Gigabyte RTX4080 Eagle | 64G G.Skill Trident Z.5 DDR5-6000 | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 | 2x2TB Samsung 990 Pro NVME | NZXT H7 | Win 11 24H2 | TM Warthog Flight Stick + Throttle | Honeycomb Alpha + Bravo | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | Samsung 43" Odyssey Neo G7 | Dell U3415W
January 31, 201412 yr Hi Jordan, I have the same computer specs as you except for the processor, which is a 3570k. I just got the same EVGA 780GTX card you have and I've been unable to get better than 10fps on the ground at FSDT KJFK v2 using the PMDG 777. AI Traffic is at 30%. Can you please share your inspector and fsx.cfg settings? Thanks! -E Enrique Vaamonde
January 31, 201412 yr Works fine without any issues on my 690GTX (8XSGSS/-1.0LOD). Marko Marko Barthel
February 1, 201412 yr I dont use anything later than 327.23, because vsync is broken with limited FPS. i9 RTX 4090 64gb ram
