P3D 2.1 - ALL current issues fixed, patch is on final

Recommended Posts

Quote: "Updated on 02/05: Finalizing patch, fixed the major bugs outstanding and doing additional testing. I added about a dozen or so new entries to the fix list below. Appreciate your support and patience, but as you can see in the list below a lot has changed and we want to make sure everything we can test is correct."

Wow, so they managed to fix the Windows 8 joystick disconnection issues too? This is great news!  ^_^

Can't wait for the new patch! :P  Will be putting updated version on new SSD drive.  Looking forward to the texture rendering being fixed in regards to having to change texture resolutions to get the trees to show up correctly sometimes.  Great effort by LM.  Appreciate their work!  It's only getting better!

That fix list is impressive considering the time frame.

Though I think I am more impressed that after releasing a test build to a limited dev audience only what, a week or two ago, they've added about a dozen new fixes that weren't even on the list to begin with.

I am ready  :Applause:

Just a few more days until we discover which major (new) bug makes it unusable for another 2 months+ (probably more now that the refund period is well and truly over for 99% of p3d users) while they patch THAT.

LOL...Oh the thrill...

Actually, if half of that list is actually fixed....wow!  If all of it is....stellar!

I gotta hand it to Wes and team, they have really done an excellent job with gathering of issues and communication.  If they do as well with the fixes, me thinks there are some exciting times ahead!

That patch might just be the silver bullet to fsx!

I have to say I never expected they would fix everything that was on the list...! Incredible! Hopefully the finalising will be done within a few days! This is going to be great!

I guess you prefer the stability and predictability of FSX....  B)

Maybe you would prefer XPX. They fix things in a timely manner.

Craig.

ps, no ill will to LR, and their team.

Actually i couldnt find the double Texture loading issue on the fixed list.

But we`ll see what known issues are going to reappear on the 2.2 patch list.

At least it is known to be a very small amount.

For 2 months work (including the holidays which will have had some LM employees on holiday) it is a very long and prosperous fix list.

I foresee this sim to engage in an evolutionary journey where no sim has gone before.
