Hi,

I've just noticed that raas is no longer present on my computer, if I go in the fsx menu odd-on modules, there's no raas items, I didn't do anything special on my fsx during last times, what could have happened? is it fixable without reinstalling the T7 from the scratch?

Is it controlled by a dll? If so, you may want to check and see if it is in the trusted section of the fsx.cfg... or possibly have a look in the dll.xml file for FSX...

Stabs in the dark, as I do not have the T7 yet, but it sounds like something is not loading correctly becuase of a config element missing...

Hi all, I think I've found the problem, the raaspro is present in the dll.xml, but there's no raaspro.dll in the raaspro folder in the main fsx folder, do you know how to fix it?

Try re-installing RAAS.

If the RAAS DLL disappeared all by itself a la Bermuda Triangle style, there's a chance your anti-virus program quarantined it or something (false positive situation).

Please do this to avoid any possible problems:

1. Disable User Account Control - slider full off (google UAC if you don't know what it is).

2. Right click on the RAAS installer exe and select "Run as Admin".

3. It's also recommended that FSX not be installed in "Program Files" due to possible write permission issues.

Doing 1, 2 and 3 should ensure RAAS (and any other FS addon program) installs cleanly.

For everything else, please see the RAAS Trouble Shooting page:

In that case, try running the update for the T7 RAAS from the RAAS website.

Look for "click here to download".

Do not download this. It is for Airbus only. The 777 has the latest

In case anyone is interested, and just in case you have the same issue as me...

My issue was realted to the PMDG "master sound volume" in the FMC. It's worth rembering, that if you don't hear RAAS, then it may simply be that your master sound volume is too low. This was my issue.

Simply by increasing the master sound volume, and then adjusting thesound volume in the levels adjust page, problem is fixed.
