February 17, 201412 yr Hi, I've just noticed that raas is no longer present on my computer, if I go in the fsx menu odd-on modules, there's no raas items, I didn't do anything special on my fsx during last times, what could have happened? is it fixable without reinstalling the T7 from the scratch? Michele Faraone
February 18, 201412 yr I think if you rerun the installer it should offer to fix the install. Not 100% as I'm not in front of my laptop right now. Alaister Kay
February 19, 201412 yr Are you saying that, if you go to your CDU and select MENU, PMDG SETUP, AIRCRAFT, EQUIPMENT, PAGE 5/9, you don't see "RAAS INSTALLED YES"? Dugald Walker
February 24, 201412 yr Author sorry for the delay, yes I confirm that even after selecting "yes" in the menu via the CDU the RAAS is not working Michele Faraone
February 26, 201412 yr I have RAAS, but I cant alter the damn RAAS volume The control panel won't save the changes.
February 26, 201412 yr Is it controlled by a dll? If so, you may want to check and see if it is in the trusted section of the fsx.cfg... or possibly have a look in the dll.xml file for FSX... Stabs in the dark, as I do not have the T7 yet, but it sounds like something is not loading correctly becuase of a config element missing... A Andrew Entwistle
April 2, 201412 yr Author Hi all, I think I've found the problem, the raaspro is present in the dll.xml, but there's no raaspro.dll in the raaspro folder in the main fsx folder, do you know how to fix it? Michele Faraone
April 3, 201412 yr Commercial Member Hi all, I think I've found the problem, the raaspro is present in the dll.xml, but there's no raaspro.dll in the raaspro folder in the main fsx folder, do you know how to fix it? Try re-installing RAAS. If the RAAS DLL disappeared all by itself a la Bermuda Triangle style, there's a chance your anti-virus program quarantined it or something (false positive situation). Please do this to avoid any possible problems: 1. Disable User Account Control - slider full off (google UAC if you don't know what it is). 2. Right click on the RAAS installer exe and select "Run as Admin". 3. It's also recommended that FSX not be installed in "Program Files" due to possible write permission issues. Doing 1, 2 and 3 should ensure RAAS (and any other FS addon program) installs cleanly. For everything else, please see the RAAS Trouble Shooting page: http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=help_and_trouble_shooting B. April 3, 201412 yr Author thanks for the answer, the poi is that I don't have an installer for RAAS, it came with the T7 installer Michele Faraone
April 3, 201412 yr In that case, try running the update for the T7 RAAS from the RAAS website. http://www.fs2crew.com/cart/pages/RAAS-Professional.html Look for "click here to download". Richard Vrolijk
April 4, 201412 yr In that case, try running the update for the T7 RAAS from the RAAS website. http://www.fs2crew.com/cart/pages/RAAS-Professional.html Look for "click here to download". Do not download this. It is for Airbus only. April 4, 201412 yr I did believe I downloaded it and ran it without any issues. RAAS was bugging me about an update being available. No issues since. Richard Vrolijk
April 4, 201412 yr Ahh, ok, that is cool then System: MSFS2024, ASUS Rog Stryx Z790-A, Intel i9-14900KF, Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 , Asus Hyperion Case,Rog Stryx 4090 OC, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD, 1Tb Samsung 860 EVO SSD,64Gb G Skill Memory, Asus Aura 1200W Gold PSU,Win 11 ,LG C4 48" 4K OLED Screen., Airbus TCA Full Kit, Stream Deck XL. April 4, 201412 yr In case anyone is interested, and just in case you have the same issue as me... My issue was realted to the PMDG "master sound volume" in the FMC. It's worth rembering, that if you don't hear RAAS, then it may simply be that your master sound volume is too low. This was my issue. Simply by increasing the master sound volume, and then adjusting thesound volume in the levels adjust page, problem is fixed.
