March 4, 201412 yr Hi All. I'm currently working on version 2.0 of the 58TC mod. If I get the blessing from Guzel to use his baron mod, the new 2.0 wll have damage, wear and tear, and maintenance added. What is planned for 2.0; A new livery, some flight tweeking. Re-worked engine sounds. Damage Mod from Guzel adapted for the Carenado 58TC mod (A Mod Squad!) The really cool damage mod will add: - Engine-1 and Engine-2 wear and damage (with fire and sound effect)- Engine Oil use, adding oil for each engine- Propeller wear with sound effect for each propeller- Flaps and Flaps Motor Wear and damage- Landing Gear and Landing Gear Motor Wear/Damage with sound effect- Wheel Brake Right and Wheel Brake Left Damage with sound effect- Flight controls wear and Damage (Aileron,Elevator,Rudder) with sound effect- If you make High G's, Elevator can be broken.- AFCS (Automatic Flight Control System) Servos Wear and Damage with sound effect- CowlFlaps-1 and CowlFlaps-2 damage- Overspeed (if you fly faster than 235 knots you hear airframe stress sound effect)- Pitot overheat (if you use pitot heat too long on ground)- All Damage situations will be logged and saved. (If you leave the aircraft with damaged status, then you have the same damaged and weared status at next day) I have a model in testing now. Say 30 days or so for release, pending OK from Guzel.
March 4, 201412 yr anyway possible to have a complete auto installer? this sounds very good, thanks Ciao!
March 4, 201412 yr Author anyway possible to have a complete auto installer? I was thinking the same thing. I have a couple of installer makers that I'll play around with. I've always shied away from installers, as we all know the dreaded .EXE file can be nefarious. I'll try to offer both, with the standard copy/paste extremely simple. Mr. Guzel gave me the go-ahead today, so we are in biz. .
March 5, 201412 yr well.. for some odd reason when I tried your first version.. everything got whacky and very screwy.. instruments in the vc were floating off the panel and bleed throughs and all sorts of general wierdness.. that is why i brought up the auto install.. good news on the go ahead. looking forward to this one. Ciao!
March 14, 201412 yr Author It's wasn't easy I know.. Carenado gave me very specific instructions that I had to follow. It'll be the same this time around too, but I will try to make it easy as can be expected. Progress; testing continues on the damage mods. The Baron is very dependable of course, and the "damage" should be on par for what a RW plan should be like. The first couple runs, the Auto Pilot would give in after a couple hours, and that's just not the case with the RW plane for example. The plane should only give you problems if you abuse it, and for the most part, the damage mod should be out of sight, out of mind.
March 14, 201412 yr I too am looking forward to version 2.0, as I have been enjoying the the current version of the 58TC. Thank you for all your work in making version 2 and thanks to Mr.Guzel for his permission in allowing this project to go ahead!
March 15, 201412 yr Great stuff. I have currently the Real Engine mod added to the default Carenado B58 and it works as well. Looking forward to this one very much!

July 15, 201411 yr Is this something that is still in development? Nathan Allen Pinard Virtual Pilot in Training Composer/Sound Designer www.nathanallenpinard.com
July 16, 201411 yr Author Hi Nathan, all. Sorry to say, but this project is on hold indefinitely. The install for this is too complex, and I was unable to iron out some "wear and tear" issues. Autopilot would wear out servos in bad/choppy weather for example. Planes are pretty darn reliable, and it takes allot of misuse to break them. The mod offers very little vrs the complexity of installing it. But I have to admit... when that baby catches on fire the first time, it's probably the only time you feel that "Seat Sucking Pucker" feeling at your computer... and not be related to porn. Maybe down the road I will revisit it.
August 10, 201411 yr Sorry to hear this, the TC is my all timefavorite plane, following the Baron........I just installed the TC in P3D by just doing a copy and paste......hope this works, if anyone has done this and had gremlins, let me know.again, thanks for the TC.......it is a NO-BRAINER for sure!!!
