March 29, 201412 yr I made a 3 page document with condensed flows and checks for FS2Crew and MJC Q400, which I think can be usefull to some other simmers. Basicly these are the checklists and tutorial from the manual shottende in to à 3 page file. I haven't used it myself extensively and made it rather quickly, so there could still be some mistakes in it. But I welcome any feedback. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vwk4xd6s32ybkti/q400flows.pdf Bastiaan

March 29, 201412 yr Commercial Member Hi Bastiaan, Nice document B) But it would be good to specify which flows belong to which crew member. I could maybe see some people getting confused. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 29, 201412 yr Author It is supposed to be only the captains flows, but I will have another look at it later. Thanks for the feedback. Bastiaan
March 29, 201412 yr Commercial Member Welcome, You might want to just write "Captain's Pilot Flying Flow" just to avoid any possible confusion. Other than that tiny point, it's very good. You should release it to the Avsim file library. Another big change that's critical: Many of the expected checklist 'responses' don't match the expected responses in the FS2Crew manual. It's going to mess people up. Please include the "expected" responses from the FS2Crew manual. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 29, 201412 yr Author Thanks for the feedback. I've uploaded an updated version to the above link. I believe I now have all the expected responses from the manual. I also submitted the file to the Avsim Library, but it is still waiting acceptance there. Just to be clear: This file is to be used as an addition to the manual, not to replace it. I still recommed people to first fly the tutorial flight form the manual, and use this document as quick reference for future flights. Bastiaan

March 31, 201412 yr Great document and it really helped on my first flight, I used a similar sheet with the J41, thank you very much for uploading it! It would be nice if you could add a forth page with the following; Pre-flight events, External power handling, General Checklist Management, Misc, Autopilot and Overhead, Main and Console Panel and Pushback commands. I think it really helps having a printed reference of those commands but currently I have open the PDF in-flight as I have not yet memorised the Overhead, Main and Console panel commands. I have even scribbled the most important ones on the back of my printed sheet! Another nice thing to add would be a reminder to set the V speeds and MDA knob to acceleration altitude, I've written this above the before start flow. I'd also suggest adding "TO THE LINE" after "BEFORE TAKEOFF CHECKLIST" and "DESCENT CHECKLIST" headings, as that's what you have to say to actually trigger them. At "MINIMUMS:" you can call "LANDING" instead of "CONTINUE" if the runway is in sight. Ooh and a final thing, add an explanation to the origin flow to remind people what ** means ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

April 1, 201412 yr Commercial Member Just remember guys, the FS2Crew Tutorial takes priority over any of these 3rd party tutorials. If you ever have a problem, revert to the FS2Crew Tutorial. Sometimes these 3rd party tutorials/checklist can contain mistakes, which can result in confusing support issues on my end. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

Ooh and a final thing, add an explanation to the origin flow to remind people what ** means Thank you for your comments. I uploaded a new version with some of the changes you proposed. I added different checklist captions with the "TO THE LINE"- part and added a reminder for the V-speeds and the acceleration altitude. The other items I did not add, because as I and mr. York said before these checklists are ment to be an addition to the manual, not a replacement. For me it would be contradictory withe the whole "condensed"-idea behind this file. However, I decided to upload the original MS Excel file, so you can edit it to your own liking. It can be found here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20624964/q400flows.xlsx Bastiaan
