With all the changes to the cloud behavior, did it break Skymax Pro?

As far as I can see it did yeah. I had visibility of about 10m with SkyMaxxPro installed but things were fine when I got rid of it.

I'm very interested in any changes to the prop effects.... But I really wouldn't like to install XP10.30 just to find it's the same as before :-/

I need at least yaw to be present in a much more evident way than before, really requiring foot work. I would also like to see less roll due to torque

on most GA aircraft. The default C400, and twins will do for a test, as well as the Cessna.

If someone finds something worth the try regarding this issue, I'll be glad to know!

Thx!

why re-install, xp10 is all in 1 folder.  Don't you backup?   10.30beta is amazing....Do it JC, click that re-install button.

I'd be interested in the answer to this as well before I download. Do the lua atmosphere scripts still work OK? Have any changes been made to the vanilla atmosphere in 10.30?

I'm really excited by the new GPS, and all cosmetic changes, but:

Am I the only one to think that the really huge surprise in this release is this ? :

Plugin-Added Forces

New datarefs let your plugin add arbitrary forces to the aircraft – see this technote for more info on how to write them and how to share them.

sim/flightmodel/forces/fside_plug_acf

sim/flightmodel/forces/fnrml_plug_acf

sim/flightmodel/forces/faxil_plug_acf

sim/flightmodel/forces/L_plug_acf

sim/flightmodel/forces/M_plug_acf

sim/flightmodel/forces/N_plug_acf

It means that for the first time ever, Austin gives aircraft makers full control over physics in X-Plane.

I'm repeating myself, but this is huge !

Thanks for the changelog

if you don't know where to look for the changes I suggest it's time to go back to FSX. You own XP many months and your posts are very negative.

I guess this depends on the system. If you're running on a low-end computer, SkyMaxx still gives you much better performance.
