June 14, 201411 yr I have upload 3 packages to the FS2004 library; the XP47H, the XP47J, and the XP-72 Republic experimentals. The FS9 packages work well in FSX too with the provided texture updates. Each package has several models and many textures to select from. These aircraft have top speeds of 490 to 505 MPH ground speed at critical altitude. All original custom models, panel and gauges, sounds and textures for your FS9 or FSX/P3D flying pleasures. Brought to you by Milton Shupe, Tom Falley, Nigel Richards, Steve Bryant, Scott Thomas; pilot figure by Jan Visser. Hope you enjoy them.
June 14, 201411 yr Once again, Milton, the community finds itself in debt to you and your most worthy team. Thank you.
June 14, 201411 yr Excellent. I'm sure with that team behind you, it is going to look, fly, and sound, great! Congratulations to all on the new delivery, and many thanks for the ongoing Great Works for FS2004.
June 15, 201411 yr Milton, Many thanks to you and your team for the continued great efforts made on behalf of us FS9ers. Regards, Joe Esposito
June 17, 201411 yr Really great stuff, Milton & team! Thanks for the FS9 versions. S-turns mandatory while taxiing in those birds,,,, John G.
June 17, 201411 yr Nice looking work Milton & Co. Thanks for the hard work! P-51's in drag ........... Regards,
June 23, 201411 yr Great modelling of a plane that is a real hand-full to fly. One comment/question: Does the exterior view engine sound seem a bit strange? I can't describe it but it has an unfamiliar throbbing modulation that seems, well...."off". I even redownloaded the complete file and got the same effect.
June 23, 201411 yr Does the exterior view engine sound Wich model ? Each model have different sounds !
June 23, 201411 yr XP47J in particular. Center of gravity also seems far forward and makes taxiing tricky.
June 23, 201411 yr Author XP47J in particular. Center of gravity also seems far forward and makes taxiing tricky. The CoG is set at 21.89% MAC, well within the limits of 18-28%. Everyone has different controller sensitivities set and different yokes, pedals, or joysticks. Feel free to adjust anything you wish with these aircraft to suit your preferences. Remember also there is a tailwheel lock to the right of the seat if that would help you to taxi more controllably. You can still use "S" curves thru individual braking if you have pedals. I have not noticed the sounds anomaly but will check it out. Thanks
June 23, 201411 yr Thanks for the suggestions. I have enjoyed your work for many years and always install your D-18 as my first add-on aircraft.
