When I was in high school, there was no such thing as a PC. If there had, I don't think I would have noticed.

There was in my time, but I only played it on school nights when i was not allowed to go out.

Haha yea right. The summer between school sessions was the only time that I could really flight sim, especially flying long hauls in real time. Now I'm a grow up with many responsible things to do and no time to fly.

 

So to those still in school, I say flight sim all you want before there's no time

Well...at least you have a new PC.  My "new" build ( 1 year old) decided not to boot W7.  I'm on my 3rd straight day trying to figure it out.  I'm not looking for tech support; I've been getting help in a W7 forum on another site.  Such perfect timing with the potential release of SP1.....ahhhhh.  This is way off topic...apologies.  I just need to vent about my computer or lack of one!!

I'm pretty sure it's coming out 15-18th. They are probably working round the clock and will release the change-log with the product.

Longest flight I sat at my computer desk...13 hours.

 

That seems probable (the change log being released with the product). If it isn't done that way they risk posting a changelog then making final last minute changes that then won't be on the list, causing confusion. I'm just hoping it's out this week.

Also, when PMDG provided a range of dates last time, they hit it right on (or close to) the mark, making me have a little bit of faith at least!

You are right Jeremy. I don't think RSR would give actual numerical dates without being 99.9% sure that they would make that window.

 

HOWEVER - Despite Roberts fondness for late night posting, given the time of 2.45AM for them, I don't believe you will see any news for at least another 12-18 Hours, if there is something due today.

Sorry, I saw your post in this forum but not the one in the Beta Tester one until after I responded.

 

I have to believe Tabs is for real.  I can't imagine he or anyone at PMDG would post something like that if they weren't serious!    Although one could argue that the wording is somewhat hypothetical...

Maybe they will want to release on Wednesday or Thursday (Eastern US time) so the initial release madness has time to calm down by the weekend.  I think they will have a New Zealand Hobbit livery on the 300ER.
