Hi Alex,

Done. Next version has a button on the 'Simulator' ribbon tab of the map to enable/disable a notification sound when passing a waypoint. You need to have a flight plan loaded in the simulator for this to work.

thanks, Maarten

Hello Maarten,

Thank you for an excellent program.

I know that it is possible to filter by publisher which is useful but is to possible for SLX to identify installed addon airports when scanning and be able to filter accordingly? I usually only fly to and from addon airports and I'll be very grateful if I could filter these airports when deciding where to fly.

regards

Paul

Hi Paul,

That is not possible I'm afraid. You can however create your own 'publisher' (use the Edit button on the Airports window ribbon tab), assign the addon airports you frequently fly to/from to this publisher (double click in the publisher field or press F2) and then filter the list based on the newly added publisher.

thanks, Maarten

Hi Tom,

Sorry for the late reply, but the manual can also be opened by clicking on the question mark in the top right hand corner of the main window.

thanks, Maarten

Hi Maarten,

i've got 2 wishes:

1. In the old SimLauncher's airport tab in the gates grid you printed an asterisk left to the radius wich showed wether a gate ist too small for aircraft xyz or not. Wolud be nice to have it in SLX.

2. If SLX is in map mode it always happens to me, that i zoom in or out of the map with the scroll wheel, the mouse pointer above the plane icon so my plane in the simulator immidiatly turns around. Could you implement some kind of protection against rotating?

Thanks, Walter

Hi Walter,

1. I will change the background of those parking positions

2. I will change the mouse wheel behavior such that you will need to hold down Shift, Ctrl or Alt (don't know yet) for the heading to change

thanks, Maarten

Hi Maarten,

another wish:

Could you implement a switch to disable the RPM-engine sounds and possible other "hidden" sound effects? I'm always scared when i change the RPM.

Thanks, Walter.

Hi Maarten,

could you add a settings switch to open the *.cfg files with my preferred editor?

And, if i choose a different aircraft, that is larger than the plane selected before and too large for the selected parking, a MsgBox would be nice, because on the airports tab you can see no difference in color. The color of the selected parking is always the same grey, wether it is too small or not.

Thanks, Walter.
