The Real World Weather that updates Automatically by online through Jeppesen doesn't work at all in FSX. So is there any alternative free tool or something else which updates World's weather automatically in FSX? If it's then please tell me.

I think the MS real world weather stopped working properly some time ago.  I'm still using Active Sky 2012 and I am generally pleased with it.  Active Sky Next is supposed to be even better.

Obviously I'm biased being part of the beta team but Active Sky NEXT really is the best weather engine I ever used for FSX.

Guys! You all are right but I need freeware, and some freewares have been given by mad dog. I try these but still I request all of you to please help me here for a better freeware weather softwares. Thanks.

There are no better freeware options out there than the 2 that mad dog offered.

A second vote for FSXWX. And yes, it's freeware.

Hi everyone

Not sure why everyone is saying the built in real weather does not work. Mine contacts jeppeson and gets data and it all seems to be working. I used it just 30 minutes ago, still working.

Not sure if you noticed but this topic is almost 3 years old when it was discussed as being a problem?

Since this is now irrelevant I'm going to lock this post but if issues arise you can start a new topic.
