January 18, 201511 yr Iain, Under [Main] after the last entry: .... SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc SimObjectPaths.6=C:\Games\FSX\SimObjects\AI_Airplanes But please note that I have all AI aircraft in the folder AI_Airplanes in SimObjects. Adjust accordingly your setup. Edmundo, My AI aircraft are in the same folder as yours but adding that line to the cfg did not work. So, I copied my AI aircraft over to the SimObjects folder in FSX-SE and I now have all my traffic! Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Iain
January 18, 201511 yr Commercial Member My AI aircraft are in the same folder as yours but adding that line to the cfg did not work. Strange it didn't work. To make sure ny FSX-SE was using ALL the same Simobjects as FSX (to make comparisons valid) I made all of the Simobject entries in the FSX-SE CFG file point to the FSX ones. Works okay. My FSX scenery CFG file has also always had the full pathnames for all of the scenery layers, even the 100 or so default ones, so I just use that for FSX-SE too. The only folders where I need to makes sure I have similar content are then Effects, Gauges and Sound. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. January 18, 201511 yr Has anyone managed to use FSWC with FSX-SE? I get a Water20 shader path error (part of the path is incorrect) when trying to change water settings. I've checked the paths to all the sections are correct, and have tried using a different (boxed FSX) Shaders HLSL version within Steam FSX, but no go. It would be nice to get FSWC working in Steam if anyone knows how.

So, I copied my AI aircraft over to the SimObjects folder in FSX-SE and I now have all my traffic! Hi, Iain, I did exactly the same thing as Edmundo (except that I have several FSX:MS AI folders) and it worked perfectly. I used the full paths: C:\...Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\[NAME OF AN AI FOLDER] (did this on a separate line for each of my AI folders). Should save you some space. Mike
January 19, 201511 yr I see why it didn't work for me. My AI aircraft aren't in a separate folder so the path that I put to AI Aircraft doesn't exist (silly me!) However, the way WoAI is structured, each aircraft type, including different engines, has a separate folder. So, in my case, I have 162. That's a lot of lines to type in the cfg so I think I'll stay as I am. It does mean that if the time ever comes when I decide that SE is the only FSX that I want and I uninstall the original, I won't lose my traffic. Anyway thanks Edmundo, Pete and Mike for your responses. Iain

That's a lot of lines to type in the cfg so I think I'll stay as I am. Just block copy the lines from the FSX CFG to the FSX-SE CFG! For that matter you could actually use your FSX CFG for FSXSE, as I have done. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. January 19, 201511 yr But the WoAI aircraft are not listed separately in the original cfg file. I think that is because they are installed with all other aircraft in SimObjects/Airplanes directory. Iain
January 19, 201511 yr Commercial Member But the WoAI aircraft are not listed separately in the original cfg file. I think that is because they are installed with all other aircraft in SimObjects/Airplanes directory. Ouch. That's not good practice! Not 162 folders then, after all? In that case just point the FSX-SE Airplanes entry to the FSX folder. To use the non-FSX-SE aircraft you may have added you will probablyhave to copy the Gauges folder, and maybe Effects and Sound folders too. Easy enough, though. That's was I've done. My FSX-SE is pretty much using everything that FSX was using, including scenery because both SCenery CFGs point to the same folders. Always make safe copies of anything you change, though, so you can get back if needed. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. January 19, 201511 yr Ouch. That's not good practice! Not 162 folders then, after all? Well there are 162 WoAI folders, one for each individual aircraft type variation. This is how the WoAI installer worked. It also produced a separate flight plan and schedules for each individual airline. Thanks for your suggestion I'll do that. As you say, copying and pasting folders is no problem. Iain

I think I would start off making a new folder, as a SimObjects path, and list it in the FSX.CFG, specifically for WOAI, then move all 162 folders into that path. That's just a drag and drop in Explorer and wouldn't take long as it's only a directory change (it woesn't actually move files). Then when you've checked that's okay, add that same SimObjects path to the list in your FSX-SE CFG file. That way you have them neatly separated from "Airplanes" and only need the one copy of them all for both. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. January 20, 201511 yr I am happy to report that the WOAI installer works fine w/ the WOAI in a separate folder. The installer provides an opportunity to point it to the correct folder (in my case ...SimObjects/WOAI). I chose "no" when it asked whether to copy files from a previous folder, presumably the main Airplanes folder where I used to keep WOAI aircraft. Of course if installing in FSX:MS, to work in FSX:SE, it will still be necessary to copy the newly installed traffic...bgl files over from FSX:MS Scenery/World/Scenery to the corresponding Steam folder. April 9, 201511 yr Dual Installation with FSX-se on different drive: RealAir Duke Turbine V2 only partially compatible. Configuration App does not work on my set-up. It has already been stated that Reality XP 530/430 does not work, but also cannot rearrange the positions of the default GPS, autopilot, transponder etc,(which was one of the major improvements on Turbine V2 in my opinion), change the default Engines Running to C&D on installation, or any other default settings.

There's been a fully compatible version of ASN out for a while now. The current one is 5575. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz.
