June 6, 201510 yr i hope the crj has the complexity of the a318-321 Actually Aerosoft has stated that it will be more complex than the Airbuses. Don't know if they'll have a first officer to help you manage it though.
June 6, 201510 yr As much as QualityWings make brilliant products (I thoroughly enjoy the 146/RJ even if it's not quite systems-deep), I really believe the modern intricacies of the 787 deserve a true, study-level simulation. I'd be brilliant for PMDG to tackle it, but I doubt we'd see it for a long time. Patrick Houghton
June 6, 201510 yr I don't doubt it for a second. It's Boeing. It hasn't been done well, yet. Rob's favorite airline, UA, flies a shed load of them. It seems like a great opportunity for their commercial business line, i.e. airlines. -Moe Syzlak
June 6, 201510 yr I think PMDG has enough on thier plate right now, and the QW 787 looks to be quite decent so far. but if I have to vote for next aircraft, then definitely an in depth 757/767 is really needed. Lvl D seems MIA. These are popular aircraft and fun to fly. The 57 is like a rocket on the climbout. The current ones out there are ok but lacking in depth. The 767-400 while not many were around, im pretty sure it would be popular as a variant in a package with the 300 series. The fact its out of production doesnt hold water IMHO as the DC 6 is out and the 737-200 and there is development for it not to mention other aircraft out of production. Not sure what happened to the MD11. I love it and fly it all the time. Oh and last i heard, FDX was talking with Boeing about building 764s -F. Theres still interest there and they are quite the work horse. I still read of people flying the Level D 767 and that was released somewhere around 2007. Its just very outdated by todays standards. June 6, 201510 yr I'd think the 767 has more potential than the 757. Nevertheless, the next airliner PMDG makes (after the 744/748, and the 777-200ER) will undoubtedly be either a 767 or a 787, me thinks.
June 6, 201510 yr 767300ER is still in production. The 757 isn't. I would think the next natural progression for them is the 787. Richie Walsh
