This looks very fine indeed but to be honest HD Mesh v3 is more than good enough for my tubeliner flying. I will keep my 16Gb ram for the anticipated 10.40 visibility improvements, which I hope will be soon. (sound of tumbleweed being blown along by the wind and rusty doors creaking on their hinges)

Thtas surprising and good ... but nevertheless, allow me some curiosity. Are you 100% sure, that UHD gets loaded (I am asking, because its one of the most common user errors ... where people think, they fly HD/UHD ... but instead they still see default/HD scenery because of an installation error)? So, can you please confirm, hat your UHD scenery really gets loaded, by following these short instructions:
http://www.alpilotx....ion-was-correct
(by the way: I recommend this simple test to everybody else, to make sure, everything is fine ... its easy and quick, and only needs to be done one, if everything is OK).

Just went to my log file...and found all the UHD entries for where I want to load out to...doing so...and all is fine with a max system RAM of 12 GB.  16 would be very welcome, but you can also use the UHD mesh with a system up to 12 GB for sure!  No delay swapping files...and pretty steady high 20's FPS.  I don't know about a max of 8...but for 12....for sure!

Wow.

Some snaps will be appreciated. Hey UUUHD for XPX also would be highly welcomed.

Enjoy your holidays.

You might need a bit more RAM than your 8GB then ;-)

I am already thinking of upgrading the Desktop's GPU / and 8 GB to a GTX 750 and either 16 or 32 GB. or upgrade the laptop RAM from 8 GB to 12 or 16.

BTW how can you run UHD on those laptops ? I guess those are 8 GB

No 16GB, which is why I can run them quite happily. Memory is so cheap these days, that it's worth getting

Yes Captain the RAM is cheap.

But the issue is either keeping the AMD CPU and just upgrading the GPU and the RAM. Or upgrade the whole thing which would be very expensive but worth it.

I don't know if my laptop HM65 will go higher than 8 GB , i still have to check.
