Singapore Airlines repaints for NGX ?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there are any Singapore Airlines repaints for the NGX models, and if so, where I might download them from ? They would be fictional ones as S.A. doesn't operate the type, but I'd be grateful to find one or two.

Thanks for any help.

Then there's probably none been painted unfortunately.

Sorry, I should have mentioned in the opening post that I'd already gone through the Avsim library. Looks like I'm out of luck. Thanks anyway, guys.

Thanks very much for that, Lawrence. I hadn't heard of Goldstar Textures before.

As Lawrence said Paul, shoot Alex an e-mail and he may consider it.  He does impeccable work.  I e-mailed him last month with a request for a Skymark 737 and he now has it on his to do list.  You can follow all his work in progress at the Goldstar Facebook page:

There are so many cool repaints both real and fictional that I used to have for the PMDG NG for FS9 that I've never seen redone for the NGX. Like...

Hooters Air

Midway Airlines

Eastern Airlines Shuttle Plus

Eastern Airlines metal hockey stick

Frontier animal tails

Air Florida

US Air (not US Airways)

Wish I was good at repainting.

Thanks for that, Chris. Actually, I've got a grasp of the basics of repainting, so maybe I should expand my knowledge and have a crack at the S.A. repaint myself. The NGX paintkit is very good, accompanied by a nice explanatory PDF. :)

Alex...if a fictional Singapore Airlines repaint for the PMDG NGX 737-900 is possible, could you add it to your list, please ? :)

Hi Alex,

Glad to see you're here. I was wondering if you could take a look at the SWA 737-800 you did. It seems the WIFI antenna blister is not painted so when you select the WIFI option in the CDU you end up with a white blister. I was hoping you wouldn't mind fixing that. Thanks so much for all the great repaints you've done, I use several of them.

Update: Also wanted to see if you'd fix the Eastern logo on the N276EA repaint you did. On one side the logo is facing the wrong way, with the nose facing the rear of the plane. One the real planes the Eastern logo always flew nose forward on both sides. Thanks.
