March 19, 201511 yr I went away from my sim for about 15 mins, and when I came back the plane was in a stall at 15,000 Feet (I left it at FL350, M.79) Has anyone else encountered this? After the dive, I had issues with VNAV, and the autopilot became buggish.
March 19, 201511 yr I had a problem with the AC banking sharp left and pitch down attitude. Something is up, i had the same problem a few months and never thought much of it! But this is twice now. Vernon Howells
March 19, 201511 yr Don't think it's the reason but for what it's worth, check your weather tool, if you're using one. I used to use a freeware one and frequently experienced sudden speed increases and drops, enough to trigger the overspeed warning/buffet alert respectively. Gone with ASN.
March 19, 201511 yr I agree with thepilot. Third party weather apps will cause this. Francisco Blas Windows 11 Pro | X-Plane 12 | ASUS Hero Z790 | Intel i9-13900K | G.SKILL 64GB DDR5 | ASUS STRIX 4090 | WD 4TB SN850X NVMe | ASUS Ryujin II AIO 360mm | Corsair AX1600i | Lian Li 011D EVO | DELL Alienware 38 G-SYNC
March 20, 201511 yr don't know about third party weather addons will cause this since I think the fsuipc.ini file will cause these issues as well I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
March 20, 201511 yr Author I am using active sky, and there was no visible moisture at my altitude. I am still baffled
March 20, 201511 yr mmmm Rarely this happens in real life though I doubt this phenomenon has been programmed into thesimulator. I've read a few instances where in real life this has suddenly happened AND what to do if it happens to you Happy flying and rememeber someone has to be on the flight deck and not making a cup of coffee Len Carne
March 20, 201511 yr I use Active Sky Next (ASN) and I have never had an issue like this. Dave Dave Paige
