March 30, 201511 yr Author Looks pretty good. I'm not a fan of that "bloom" stuff....note the blown highlights in your pics with white objects (clouds, fuselage etc) Yeah there are many who don't like a lot of bloom, when i post the details I will include how to remove this effect for those who don't like it. Here are some more shots showcasing the day/night transition and nighttime darkness. The follow shots are taken with the same weather using the P3D's time preview function. I'm pretty happy with the results now and think I have a somewhat reasonable understanding of how it all works, so expect a full detailed write up either late tonight or tomorrow. Day: Dusk: Night With some moon: Night with no Moon, you should not be able to see clouds in this picture. If you can it just means that your monitor is calibrated differently than mine (brightness/gamma/contrast) Lian Li 011 Air Mini | AMD 9800X3D | Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F | Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II 280mm RGB | 2x32GB G.Skill DDR5-6000 | ASUS TUF RTX 5090 | Seasonic Prime Platinum 1000W | Pimax Crystal Light

March 31, 201511 yr Its going to take him some time to explain all of this as it can get a bit confusing so I can see why he is not going to just throw out some stuff at us without solid directions - that being said get her done - kidding looking forward to it Rich Sennett

March 31, 201511 yr Well I was going to dive into (and probably drown in) HDR. I think I'll wait and tap Mike's talent. Will you be posting results in this thread? Thanks. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM
March 31, 201511 yr Is there any discernible hit to frames or performance? No - what ever you are getting now this wont change that Rich Sennett
