Where from to Download V2.4 SDK?

Manny - the problem is that your statement doesn't make any sense. Wanting the SDK is one thing but indicating that you need it to run ASN is another.

ASN does NOT need the SDk to run BUT you do need the correct version of ASN to match the correct version of P3D. AS I stated earlier in this thread - the current version of ASN only works with P3D 2.5 - any earlier versions of ASn and P3D are not being supported.

IF you can find someone to send you the patches (which is a violation of P3D policy) you will still have the issue of being versions behind.

Wow, I never expected all this. The P3d SDK has never been needed to run ASN with P3d. I'm sure that the original poster is confused about what he needs to do to get ASN working with P3d.

Why would anyone need the P3d SDK to run ASN?

As an aside, since the full FSX SDK is not available with FSX-SE, users of FSX-SE are hunting around for illegal copies of the P3d SDK that have been uploaded to various websites.

"Ilegal copies?" Why on earth would anyone go looking for what is freely and plainly available at http://prepar3d.com/support/sdk/ anyway?

That's not a download link for the SDK, unless you are logged in. You have to download it from your personal product page.

Also, that link's for v2.5 -  Prepar3D v2 SDK 2.5.12944.0 which the OP explicity doesn't want. How sad!

Gerry, the v1.4 link is at the very bottom of the page...

<tsk, tsk, tsk>

It is also important to actually read and understand the fine print:

The Prepar3D® SDK is available as a free download to anyone looking to get into developing add-ons or content for Prepar3D®.

That's not a download link for the SDK, unless you are logged in. You have to download it from your personal product page.

Yes, one does need to create an account and Login. That doesn't take too much effort at all, and is not contingent on having already bought a license for P3D...

...which is good because you cannot purchase a license before creating an account, now can you?

Guys, please don't just "make up stuff" to discourage people.

But the OP states:

In the download section at P3D site, All I see is v2.5 SDK..where can I get V2.4 SDK?

<tsk tsk tsk> ...yourself!!!

LM must have changed the account procedure because the only that you could create an account was through purchasing P3d.

Besides how could one logically develop anything for P3d without having a licensed copy of P3d?

I'm out of here. The original premise was that some old version of the SDK was needed to run ASN.
