Instead you are>taking a $30 add on and compairing it to a freebee given to us>by the game manufacturer, seems we went backwards instead of>forwards.>This plane is clearly not up to standrards by most for the>prices they are charging. Maybe it should be more in the>$10-15.00 range?>I think before you comment something that you don't own you should make at least some basic homework. The feelthere plane does NOT cost $30. It cost $19.99 and includes 2 airplanes so we can say your suggestion of $10-15 is right on. The more expensive one costs $24.49 but it includes a gauge that costs $17 by itself. Now we can open a chat about how good is that GPS or not, but the fact is you have the choice to get it with or without it. If you buy the cheaper version I think $20 for 2 planes is still reasonable.Quantasluver

I think this is a good thread. From what I have read, (in general) people are fine with it, and are looking forward to the service pack that will be coming from FeelThere. People who have not purchased it, can bookmark the site and check it out later after the patch to see if the improvements have been made. It's no Aeroworx King Air, but it is a huge / vast improvement over the default Caravan.Kev

I like it, however I would have really liked to have seen a better VC.. The views looking out to the left and right are not very good.

I havent bought this because I dont like the C208 generally, but the pics looked pretty good to me. I will say the DHL colors are wrong. I work for DHL. The yellow is much brighter in real life.Eric

"The yellow is much brighter in real life."That's exactly why I'm glade it's toned down here. DHL have chosen the most ugliest colors any company could ever have chosen for representation. I'm sorry Eric but your company

It looks like the main people complaining they don't like this add-on don't even own it. For all of us that have purchased it, it seems like most like it. Especially the FDE over the default...

Not the case at all Dillon. I am surprised you are happy considering how big a VC fan you are. Look at the windows on the default compared to this one, they look better:-eek .I love the sounds, I lke the exterior model and I like the FDE, but I can't stand the poor VC. I have been trying all day to find things I like about it, did several flights. Then I decided to take the B200 to juneau and when I first loaded the VC, I realised I can't fly the Caravan again.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International

"from most of the comments on both forums"Most of the comments on most of the forums are coming from most of the people who just like you didn't buy it just quouting each other :)Quantasluvr

Quick evaluation after a couple of flights:1) Flightmodel: good, definitely improvement over default2) Sounds: good3) External visuals: serviceable4) 2d cockpit views: serviceable5) 2d sideviews: substandard6) VC: serviceable/substandard7) Cabin views: serviceableI'd give this 2.5 out of 5. No need to buy this unless you're a Caravan fan. ricardo

Excuse me, but are you a member of Aeroworx? You certainly speak as if you have some kind of inside information, which would lead me to believe you are or know someone who is.I might suggest that you check your "facts" before making statements in regards to Aeroworx, as I believe you have the situation quite wrong.1. The Aeroworx Caravan is not and never was cancelled, development of it was postponed. You might have seen that on the Aeroworx website, had you done your homework.2. If I had to estimate project development at the time it was put on hold, I would say in the range of 35%-45%. Whilst not a completed aircraft, I think we can all agree that is a bit more than nothing.3. As it hasn't been a year since development was started on the Aeroworx Caravan, I really don't see how they could have been "showing photos for years".4. I don't think Aeroworx should thank FeelThere. Why would they? Sorry, but I just can't figure where you come from with that comment.Everyone has opinions and has the right to voice them, but passing incorrect information off as fact on public boards is not only a disservice to the FS community as a whole but makes you look bad in the process. This concept applies to most everything and is not specific to the topic at hand. Food for thought. In regards to FeelThere, as with all other development groups, they are free to build whatever aircraft they want and however they so choose. Aeroworx holds nothing against them for developing and releasing their Caravan. From one developer to another, Aeroworx wishes them the best of luck with their product and hope it does well for their sake. As far as I know, there is no animosity between the two dev groups. Attempting to create it (animosity) is a waste of time. This is a free market. If you like a product and want to buy it, then I say have at it. If you don't like it, then don't buy it and save your hard-earned money for something else. This is a pretty basic concept to grasp and applies to, well, pretty much every product, be it an FS addon, dishwasher or automobile. The above information and comments might have you wondering who I am and why I have responded. As I AM a member of Aeroworx, I can testify to the integrity of the information I have posted. As well, I can assure all reading this that Mr. Quantasluvr is NOT a part of Aeroworx and that his information regarding Aeroworx and our projects isn't close to the mark.

$27 for a "lite" release with a re-bitmapped GPS? :-lol Maybe the ones who bought it love it, all 3 of you guys. Because really, you'd have to be a Caravan junkie or flat-out new to the hobby to think that's worth the money. Even if the plane is successful in what it set out to do (go figure, all it had to do to succeed was outdo the default one, I bet that was hard :-lol), its pricetag is not justified. I'd pay $10 for that. Maybe $15 because the liveries are nice. But $27, or even $20? #### no.Just my 2 cents. Hopefully those of you that bought it will enjoy it and won't feel ripped off.Daniel P.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgMember of SJU Photography. Hello Michael, speaking of the B200, I could not agree with you more how nice it is. I await the new V2 for better performance reasons. I also noticed over at Aeroworx, even though their Caravan was postponed, who knows? I saw the wink emoticon at the end of Hennings post in one of the threads, so maybe some day they will put a Caravan out there after the Beech58. I don't want to start any speculation of course, but when you see the quality of some of the payware developers products today, it really raises the bar. Take care. Best regards, Jeff
