And screens referring to LDPL Pula-airport (scenery by Davor Puljevic -> http://secure.simmarket.com/davor-puljevic-pula-x.phtml)

Hello, I'd back to this case referring to Pula scenery by Davor Puljevic.

In the meantime I was in touch with this developer and he told me that he can make a rough resolution by ADE but he must know what is elevation of surroundings of Pula airport. Afterwards he will make flatten area with this elevation. I need to send him elevation which my FS shows in slew mode.

Honestly speaking I don't know elevation of which part of scenery I should send him - elevations are different near the thresholds, so maybe near these areas. Do you have any suggestion or maybe you can tell me what elevations are generated by FreeMeshX there?

Huge thanks in advance for your support and patience to my person.

With ADE you can make a several flattens around the airport that will fit the terrain almost perfectly. It takes some work, but all you have to do to find the altitude is to load up the airport and FreeMeshX in FSX or P3D, then slew around the airport and take note of the different altitudes around the airport, then enter ADE and do the work with small flatten polygons.

Hi guys.

First of all I want to say thank you very much for FreeMesh X Global, I couldn't imagine my flight without it.

I use it in P3D, it works flawlessly, look amazing and improving default mesh so much.

Here's my catch however. And, let me just say - be prepar3d  cause it's quite remote one.

It's actually so remote I wouldn't even mind if you won't ever flattened it ever but I've noticed it and just want to let you know about it. Find it when I search for some "quiet" spot to test m airplanes without much interrupting by all those ground objects. I hope it's ok to post it like this, if you need some screenshots, I can provide them too later.

That lake in the middle it's quite elevated above the ground.

First of all, sorry for a double post, can't edit last one so have to write a new one.
Well, after another check out, both in P3d and GMaps, here are some new lights on this whole case.
And it turns out I was wrong about that exact location. Not by much, but just enough. Just enough to witness another beautiful Earth's miracles.
This https://www.google.com/maps/@-49.5644902,69.2725366,4326m/data=!3m1!1e3 is the right location, about 15 km east of that lake I mistake this one for, and as you may see... there is some quite weird ...formation right there, called rightfully "Table mountain". Imagine my surprise. So it wasn't just another classical "spike" error, legendary since early Flight simulators, there actually IS a weird "table" mountain on that place. AND, check this, there actually a lake on it !!! Wow, how cool was that. So you guys (plus Microsoft & Lockheed Martin) got it right. Although I sincerely never thought of saying that. But... it goes south after that. Just that lake takes about say 5% of that plateau, not 95 as it is in the game.

It would be nice if someone could correct this but if not... it's ok, there's even bigger glitches out there, I'm sure.
This is how it really looks, I believe it's from the North-West, I know I've been there.

a regular plain hill, you may say, huh. And if you look at that GMaps link, you'll see it's even stranger from above. Here's another look on this map, Table mountain is right on the edge, upper left corner.

And I'll provide how it looks in P3D, this time I have to do it, you just have to see it. :)
Who's wrong, P3D (or FSX I believe) or this mesh, I don't know. But tbh it doesn't really matter now. I have learn something new and now the trips down there will be more meaningful. And what a amazing area that is !
My god, can one imagine to live right there ?

Minus the temperatures lol. And a amazingly huge isolation.
Magnificent desolation. :)

So, once again, can't edit post, it's too late so now it's a triple post.

It would not be you guys write anything, so guess I'm not the sole one to blame. :db:

Anyway... here's the shot.

It's La Table, not Table Mountain as stated before.

More like some giant swimming pool to me. :Raised Eyebrow:

Giant swimming pool indeed!

Looks like its a classic case of the stock vectors for that waterbody will need update to align with the mesh. I'll see if FTX Vectors does the fix.

Thanks for your reply Moser.

Yeah, silly me, I forgot to say... I got all those important Orbx stuff - Vector and Landclass.

@AviatorMoser,

It's P3D, like I said. Maybe it's up to those two I have mention in post above - ORBX Vector and ORBX Landclass. Do you have those too ? Otherwise... I don't know. But I will more than gladly help you in any way, just ask.

Feel like I owe you a big one you know...

I'm mountaineer in real life, got a bug for all those nature's curves and you can imagine that my flights wouldn't worth a dime if there wasn't a wonderful Freemesh X Global. Really, don't want to become to repetitive but thank you man.

Thank you very much. :good:

And... how "fubar-ed" is that location on your version exactly ? Can you take a screenshot to, I'm more than interested how does it look for you.

Not very fast, though it was up around 300-500 kB/s a while ago. Still not much of a comparison to you guys with huge T1 pipes, but I'm peddling as fast as I can go.

Pretty fubared! I'm not sure what addon is causing this! I have my mesh, FTX Vector, and all addon landclasses disabled. Happens to me in both FSX and P3D. Weird! I do have that have that table lake too. But it's hard to diagnose it when my scenery here looks like this!

Also running Global and Vector and FreeMeshX everywhere. I see the ultra-huge swimming pool, but otherwise it is ok.

It seems this should be a Vector issue, has any one brought up the issue on the Orbx forum?
