Did you stop at step one or did you continue through the rest of the supplemental procedures through pg 16?  Throttles closed? 

 

I assume you loaded the flight okay as instructed on page 11.

A suggestion - do one of the following:

 

Turn on your APU.

 

Connect to ground power.

100% it is generated by throttles pushed to over 40% and no flaps deployed (aircraft configuration warning horn I think)

My bet is that, as the nameless person above me wrote, it's the takeoff config warning. Check your throttle position. Reduce it to idle.

Thank you all... As usual, feeling a bit dumb...

I'm an Engineer and should have noticed the intelligence of this aircraft.

Previous flight I left the throttle up.

That was it and nothing else.

There is a reason why pilots are required a max limit of continuos flight...

Though not exactly flying, working in a solution to eliminate trees in airport tarmacs...

haha - reminds me of a time I watched an MD80 do an engine run in the Runway 30 penalty box at IAD. The tree behind it was bent pretty far over.
