Featured Replies

I've recently added P3D support to my EZCamViews 3D cockpit camera app. I'm looking for a some P3D flight simmers who are interested in helping me test my camera app with P3D.

I have a dedicated support forum here: http://www.ezcamviews.net/forums

and my website is here: http://www.ezcamviews.net

Please email me if you are interested in helping me to test.

Thanks...

Looks like your General Discussion forum needs a bit of censoring.

Also website link is wrong.

Every effort for freeware is great! thanks!

I simply struggled about the name EZCam as it took several minutes for me that this has nothing to do with EZDOK (EZCA) ... maybe a more unique name would be good?

One question:

If I switch between cams: is that "animated" like in EZDOK or is it a "rough" switch between the views.

So if I switch from captain to passenger (in a GA as example) does it just jump or does the cam "move" to the backseats?

many thanks!

The app name is EZCamViews, not EZCam.

You have an option switch between views "instantly" or "transition" between views smoothly. And no, the view doesn't jump into the back seat.

Have you actually ran the app to see how the views change from one view to another?

This is a great initiative.

I would emphasize ease of use and not the clunckiness that comes with EZDOK.  Looking forward to seeing how this develops.    Are you also able to make it compatible with TrackHatClip in addition to TrackIR?

Hello Ralph,

great to see somebody takin care of a proper cam app. I have a few questions though, does your cam app supports only VC views or do you consider an implementation like EZDOKs world cams? If so is it possible to control the different cams with keyboard/mouse? As vid maker these are vital function of such a cam app :) Oh does your cam app also work with P3Ds observer management?

Thank you in advance :)

no, because I don't want to make a too great mess with my installations.

That was the only point to keep me off, now I will try for sure and will report back

I can take a look at that. I don't use TrackHatClip. Do you use it and can you test it?

If you don't mind can you post this on my dedicated forum so I can keep track of this request? Thanks.

I'm planning to add outside views.

Camera views can already be controlled via the keyboard and the mouse if you choose.

I have to read up on what observer management is, so I can't answer that at the moment.

Can you please add a post for this to the dedicated forum so I can track this:

Could I clarify some of the features?

For me EZdok shines when you get to feel the turbulence/turn/ and enviroment of the sim. The fact that the head 'bobbles' is incomparable..

Does your software look to feature this?

Is it quite similar to the functionality of ezdok? I like the quick custom views in the VC and wings but the software is massively out of date and has issues on skylake builds.

I may be adding the head shake feature in the future. Please post a request for this on the website (see below for URL). I can then track your request.

EZCamViews has functionality to support camera views, not functionality to look or act like any other camera app.

Please look over the website and if you're interested, down load the app and give it a go.

It would be best to post your questions on my dedicated forum rather than start long threads in this forum. The website is www.EZCamViews.net and the forum is here: www.EZCamViews.net/forums

Hi Ralph. Approx how long to get approval for the forum? I have registered and I'm awaiting approval. Don't want to sound impatient and appreciate you will have a lot on.
