I have one final question regarding the Sors updates. I have not used them. I was a little apprehensive.

I use these updates and run the update every few months. http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html

I also subscribe to Navigraph, and update that about 4 times a year. Keeps everything in sync between my FMCs and Pro ATC which I use for navigation. When updating Airac in Pro ATC, you run Makerunways, which checks to make sure everything in Pro ATC and P3D is in sync. Works all the time. The only thing that his won't change is things like runway number markings, but who cares if I am landing on 8L ay KFLL and the runway signs and numbers say 9L ( which it did when I flew in an out of there in real live. many times) .

Maybe because LM has other priorities such as Avator mode... Oh, just realize that LM states that their licenses should not be for entertainment purposes..

I think the avatar will be an excellent training tool. An instructor will watch where a student stops the model and what they are looking at. I drive a truck and the pretrip inspection is one of the most important actions of the day. It can't be any less important in a plane.

Or you if you frequent an airport with the wrong runways, and it bothers you enough, you can fix it! … It's a nice fun afternoon project with Scruffy Duck's FREE, wonderful Airport CAD program http://www.scruffyduck.org/airport-design-editor/4584106799 , ADE, and change the real runway headings not only on the radio but also visually!

AND YES... You can turn the entire airport in one fell swoop!

Not only that, but if you care to add or update approach procs for the airport, you can do that as well. This is one way that I've gotten around the old nav data limitation for a few of my favorite airports. It is a really great tool!

This is a three year old necro post - I'm positive the questions have been answered by now.
