Fascinating video walkaround of a Baron B55 & a great paint scheme

Featured Replies

Came across this video today. About 27 minutes long. This B55 owner goes through his entire airplane from stem to stern, and provides a commentary on its virtues and comparing this mid-series B55 to other Beech models including the B58 and the Duke.  Even some comments vs his V33 Bonanza. I absolutely love the paint scheme on this B55.

Agree! And the video insight into the Baron B55 shows how good a job MilViz did with the model.

The same pilot has what appears to be Go Pro recorded flights in that Baron B55 as well. Not necessarily great as far as video production goes, but provides some good insight into flying the Baron. He is certainly more seat-of-the-pants at times.......

Very much so. It is, as far as I recall, the most difficult paint I've done! The tail fin IS the most difficult! I fondly thought it would be a case of plonking a decal on each side. I couldn't have been more wrong. Still, it's keeping me out of the bars and bordellos. Another week I reckon.

Ah Ron. Go out and slosh down a couple of OSH's and relax for a day or so! Then sprinkle some salt on that bird's tail and that will make it behave better for you! LOL
