PMDG 747 wins the Avsim award

God, Dillon do you have nothing better to do in your spare time than to slam PMDG 747 on every forum and every time the topic comes up. It is a fine aircraft for FS9 and deserves awards. I suspect you spend so much time slamming them, you do not know how to fly it properly.

Oh my god this thing goes on and on. I have the 747 and I really like it. Performance is not as good as the 737 on my machine but still acceptable. If a patch makes it better, I'd be even happier. I don't have LDS but I am planning on purchasing it soon. Why is it such a nasty big deal who won since anyone who cares this much to argue here should really own and enjoy both?Jason

What's funny Bob is your view of the LDS gauges. :-lol Since your so critical of the look of the LDS gauges, read this:"The best screens I've seen from anyone would be Ariane's BBJ and PSS

For once Randy I agree 100% with you... :-beerchug It's amazing your post fell right above my first post on this thread (right below this one). Randy you should put this message at the end of this thread as it sums up where we should all be concerning these two products. I for one will be very glade when the day comes when the PMDG744 is as polished as the LDS 767...

Gary-I'm in danger of sounding like a broken record here, but I've stated MANY MANY times that we have nothing but respect for our fellow developers. Wade knows this, Pedro knows this, Laurent knows this, and so do all the others. Some people might think that we'd stab each other if we crossed paths, but the reality of the matter is, we're all friends. I exchange emails very regularly with many developers from other add-on publishing ventures and meet a lot of them as well in various shows and exhibitions. So, to set the record straight, let's just laugh together at those who might think that PMDG, or LDS, or Aeroworx or any other software add-on house would even think about their fellow developers in a negative way, let alone bribe or pay a publication like AVSim for such reviews...(the opposite, though, might be true for some online publication sites who demand money to actually review a product, hinting that they "might tip the balance in our favor" that way... - you know who you are, and we'll never do business with you, ever).

Yea John I'm really slamming PMDG carrying their Banner everywhere I go. :-roll I love PMDG's products by the way, even this 744 that's a slide show on my system (well not exactly a slide show but far from a stellar performer). You can take really great pics of this bird for desktop wallpaper purposes...

You were the one wound up about gauge resolution. I'm just making a point as to who's done a better job overall in this department... :-)
