Hi Pe11e, which driver version are you are actually using (P3D v3.2.3.16769)?.

Ed

Currently using 361.75

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Tried it, and noticed FPS were lower.  Of course, I used Nvidia Inspector.  Went back one driver earlier and all is well.

So far, it seems that old 353.30 does the job better for in-cloud flying. Have not tested the new one yet due to bad reports from previous versions. Following-up anyway.

Cheers,

I haven't heard that one, but I think I may need to try 353.30 if that's the case. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania, so it's ALWAYS CLOUDY!! I'll need to check if it's OK for the 980ti.

It is true that 353.30 behaves great with clouds ! Even better in P3D 3.1 than 3.2 imho !

Just beware with 353.30, it has a documented bug when using some browsers (Chrome for sure, Firefox maybe, even with hardware acceleration disabled within the browser), that bug makes the driver recover (TDR, black screen for 2 seconds, then recover). If this happens when using P3D, the sim will loose the display and you'll have to restart it.

Just in case you get this issue and wondering why. I had to use the next one, 353.62 I think. Same perfs in clouds, but no bug.

That's great news, I see this driver is WHQL for 980ti and Win10, so I'm going to give it a whirl in heavy IMC and report back. Thanks for the info!

Hi.  I was wondering if someone has used 353.30 or 353.62 with an SLI setup.  If so, does it outperform some of the more recent drivers from 361.43 to the present?  I've had great luck with it before, but never tried in SLI.  I'm using 980Ti SC SLI here.

Thanks,

Jeff
