Just testing FPS since I've seen quite a lot of slightly stuttery videos out there.

System is i7 6700 @ 4.6GHZ 32Gigs Ram Nvidia 1080GTX

Sorry for the unsteady flying, I was looking for scenic areas to fly over, and not paying attention to the plane! FPS counter is on lower left corner and is kinda tiny, so you should probably watch in full screen.

 

Things to look for: Very high FPS with both a detailed airport and a nearby city (with shadows). Absolutely no pop up: Objects tens of miles away are perfectly visable. Fun things: Ipad sitting on right chair has working map. Very high resolution textures on the planes and buildings. Very nice lighting engine with variable atmospheric scattering.

 

Its a promising young sim!

Impressive graphics, Devon. They will look even better with proper water, and the underlying bridge textures air brushed out. I also notice that the American Airlines planes are in the old colour scheme. Are there still some left that have not been repainted?

They have stated water-masking as a goal, and you are not the first to mention that plane!  :wink:

 

Paint kit is part of the SDK, I believe.

I can't figure out WHERE is that video in post #51 "FPS testing"? Somewhere on the California coast, but not San Francisco, not Los Angeles, not San Diego, I don't think? Where?

 

Oh, wait - I think it's San Diego after all. I'll go and fly there to check!
