I just updated my AIRAC from 1308 to 1608. When I go into my FMC I get an error about no data on rwy 10C. I go to dep/app and there is no SID or Runways available to select. What is going on? I had SIDS and Runways before the update.

You may try to delete the arpt_rwy.dat file. It will rebuild when you launch fsx again.

Are you trying to load a previously saved flight plan into FMC? Maybe the runway identifier got changed so 10C no longer exists. What the airport btw?

Assuming you are referring to the 777, Romain's suggestion will most likely fix the problem.  The file is in FSX\PMDG\Navdata but it is not part of the Airac.  It will rebuild the next time you load the 777.

 

You can back it up if you want to be extra careful.

FSDREAMTEAM KORD

You better fly to some other airport. The real KORD as reflected in the FMC and on aeronautical charts is not even close to what FSDT has for KORD.

You have a better KORD?  The scenery is outdated, missing a couple of runways and the taxiways are missing a few things but I can still use it.  Just need to remember that real 10L/28R is just 10/28 in the scenery.

As far as ORD goes, I think it's kind of a lost cause for all involved until they're done with all of their runway changes, which will be over quite some time. The only exception, to me, would be an updated AFCAD. Otherwise, it's a lot of work on scenery that'll be outdated by the time it releases...that is, unless someone designs their ORD scenery to be the final real world version, which would be somewhat of a pain if you fly online.

The only scenery I have is FSDREAMTEAM KORD. I don't know of any others.

I use this Ray Smith AFCAD, and it is accurate as to the current KORD runway locations and numbering. It doesn't have all of the enhanced buildings, ground vehicles, gates and textures of an FSDT product of course, but much closer to reality than the (now) very outdated FSDT KORD.

On the bright side, FSDT is remaking KORD currently
