September 2, 20169 yr If everyone thought like you we would all be flying the pmdg 737 for fs9. Thinking bigger and constantly pushing the boundaries is what leads to progress. Some features are pointless in a simulation ( i.e. coffee makers) but systems depth, failure modeling, and other things that create a more in depth and accurate representation of the real thing should be encouraged and developed. You completely miss my point. Adding more depth and realism is fine and well, but every feature in a virtual aircraft is a hit on performance. And I think it's safe to assume that most of us would favour performance over a failure that would never happen most pilots anyway. Best regards, Neal McCullough

There would be no benefit for 90+% of users for any developer to spend extra development time and resource modelling highly academic system failures. I'm all for increased realism but I have no interest in simulating pack/aircon failures. PAH-LEEZ no!
September 15, 20169 yr ( i.e. coffee makers) I thought we already had coffee makers... at least the ability to shut them off (CAB / UTIL switch) Nick Dobda
September 15, 20169 yr i would pay $5 for a way to more quickly rotate the knob used for setting minimums cheers -andy crosby I'd pay $20 and buy the developers a drink for a fix for that!!!! If you have a registered (payware) version of Pete Downson's FSUIPC program you can use two keys of your choice (or buttons) instead of the mouse to scroll the MINS value up or down. If you PM me an email address I will send you the Lua scripts and instructions for setting this up in FSUIPC - it is easy to do. Oh, and no charge! Al

PMDG have great products for the desktop simmer but the real meat and bones is prosim. The flightmodel is so much like the real thing and flying Prosim especially on landing is alot harder that the NGX, as the NGX is based on a quick fix desktop simmer. I loved the NGX but i needed more out of my hobbie and Prosim delivered just that. Could you tell me why using Prosim is so much better than using PMDG NGX as the base for your home cockpit? Is it because it cost a lot of money?
