FSLabs A320x... an interesting post...

Lefteris,

I have used P3D v3, but my system is low end, so, I was using it as a visuals generator for Aerowinx PSX, and disabled all shadows, had autogen to minimal, nil  AI or any other traffic, only default scenery, but LPMA from Aerosoft. No aircaft add-ons were installed, and the only add-ons were actually, appart from Madeira, AS16 and ASCA.

If I buy the FSLabs A32x that's how I am planning to use it. Minimal settings in the sim to be able to get the best performance out of this Airbus simulation. There are no miracles, and until P3D goes 64 bit, and FSLabs updates this add-on to that version, or decides to create one for X-Plane, I believe users must be cautious with their settings in a 32 bit platform.

For me this is rather easy because I am used to PSX and ELITE, where the richness of out-of-windshield graphics aren't the focus ( specially in PSX... ), but rather the complexity and quality of the simulation.

If I ever decide to buy P3D v3 and the FSLabs Airbus, I'll call it my Airbus A320 standalone sim :-)

It took me a full day off to install Windows 10, install FSX Steam. Install just the basic Orbx addons I have. FTX Vector. FTX Global. FTX OpenLC America. FreeMeshX. And some FSDT and Flightbeam airpo

  • Jose, I think AS16+ASCA are the most underrated and misunderstood add ons this year, some simmers don't get how much of a improvement the effects of weather on the aircraft is in AS16. I think som

  • Yep.  Can't wait for the P3D version!!!  My FSX install runs ok.  And, I'm happy to be flying this beautiful aircraft rather than waiting who knows how long for the P3D version.  But man, do I miss P3

Had to get FSX again for this plane also... I forgot how much worse it was compared to P3D!

Here's another interesting post about the roll inertia in the landing fase

This was what I was talking about at another post in the X-Plane forum, based on observing some youtubes.

I also find ground handling a bit twitchy when the rudders are used to correct and stay on centreline.

But of course I do not own this aircraft, so, I can't speak based on my own experience...

On some aircraft and airport combinations I have lowered my setting in p3d to ensure I don't OOM. I would do the same for the A320X.

yes exactly, I also do not own this aircraft but after the experience with other simulations like PSX, X-plane's IXEG 737, and majestic's Q400, I really don't want to buy another addon if it has compromised/limited FSX/PD3 flight dynamics, even if it has top notch systems simulation.

They are tweaking and bug fixing, bring things like this to their attention and they will fix them in upcoming patches. The flight dynamics are smooth I do not have experience with Airbus but compared to the AS Airbus the FSLabs really flies like FBW is supposed to.
