..just need your advice for 2 fast small (120GB will be sufficient) SSD HD one to host the OS and one for the my Sim.

I need to keep budget under control so I guess it shouldn't be any fancy one

Tnx

I really like the Samsung 850 Evo drives to be honest. I have the 1 TB version. The smaller drives should be just as good.

Get a single 240/250GB SSD to maximize value. A Sandisk SSD Plus, Mushkin Triactor, OCZ Trion 100 or 150, Kingston SSDNow,... the cheapest one will work just fine

I have the Samsung 850 Evo 250GB and I am considering to add 500GB (maybe 1TB). I am quite happy with it.

Just to whink about: 120 GB for the SIM is not too much... I would go for a bit bigger. Moving afterwards is a pain in the you know what.

My laptop has two m.2 drives(120 gig for the o/s & a 500 gig for P3d) + a standard 7200rpm hd.

With all the P3d addons I've used up over half of the 500 gig drive.

Standard ssd drives are pretty reasonable now. Go for as much space as you can. You'll thank yourself down the road.

Why separate drives? That sort of made sense with mechanical HDDs, not really with SSDs

I use Crucial SSDs with no issues I have 1 500 GB and a 1 TB
