Thanks for the heads up Jim.

I'm trying the demo and so far it is pretty good. Only flown round NW UK so far but as far as ortho goes its got some real promise. It is kind of like tileproxy or any of those programs but this is for lazy people like me who want to just install and fly. So far so good!

I am running it on FSX SE/Windows 10. Still some problems starting up, but once it's started it continually streams photo scenery. Best for <2500 ft agl.

I thought this was removed due to licensing concerns?

Only removed from Avsim by the looks of it.

The Bing imagery they used, marketed and watermarked wasn't theirs to sell and the developer had promised to clarify that they had permission to do so. Caution is advised unless something has changed and they have permission from Microsoft.

Tony is correct.  I removed the forum until I received a clarification of the developers permission to sell the data.  So far I have not received anything but the developer said he would.  I will bring back the forum so members can see other comments.

I decided to invest in this "new photoscenery" deal as an early entry, primarily to show support for the developer.  I very much enjoy flying over photoscenery here in the UK,  I do feel, however, totally ripped off at the lack of communication from them. Needless to say not a penny more to them from me.  Regards all.

I'm still having problems starting a new flight with World Terrain, and occasional the WT program crashes.

But when it works, it's great.

And it's free for now.
