February 19, 20179 yr Bill, one short haul if you want call it that is United SFO-HNL which I've been on. Its an ER not an LR but that's still a fairly short haul for that a/c. Cheers Joe - might just fly that route, next run! February 20, 20179 yr I would like to get one of the two wide bodies, I just cannot decide which one, I like them both. One has been around for a while and the other one is brand new. Personally i like them both and I don't have a real preference. Does anyone have a pros/cons list of reasons for selecting one or the other? meaning, reasons related to hardware, bugs (if any), flying difficulty, realism or else thank you Get them both! I, for my part, prefer the 777 in all variations. Dave P. Woycek
February 20, 20179 yr Get them both! I think if they were 9.99 each, this thread would not exist.
February 20, 20179 yr I have both, but I've yet to fly the 777 again since purchasing the 747. It's the curved display screens that get me, plus the fuel management that you have to perform. (despite the complaints from other users on the subject). Jude BradleyBeech Baron: Uh, Tower, verify you want me to taxi in front of the 747?ATC: Yeah, it's OK. He's not hungry. X-Plane 12 and MSFS2020 🙂 System specs: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, Ubuntu Linux 20.04 i7-13700KF Gigabyte Z790 RTX-4060-Ti , 32GB RAM 1X 2TB M2 for X-Plane 12, 1x256GB SSD for OS. 1TB drive MSFS2020
February 20, 20179 yr Definitely 747. My 777 is scraped, as i never fall in love with her. 747 is better and easier for hand fly, sound is better, even cockpit modelling and texturing are better. Overall - smoother, and more enjoyable simulation than 777. Artur
