December 31, 200520 yr Thanks, Clay. :-)Yeah, Paul is tired, and who can blame him?Otherwise, I updated the DF web site, and released it late this afternoon. We had to get it out before the new year!I would HIGHLY suggest that if you wish to upgrade to Version 2 that you visit the DF web site, as opposed to the F1 web site, and see this page, which is linked from the DF home page.http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/Previews/727/preview_V2.htmlIt also contains a link to the file. The instructions may save some of you some grief in the Upgrade. :-)Happy New Year,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
December 31, 200520 yr I was hoping a Kelowna repaint would be on that beautiful 727F with winglets. Oh well!Anyway great add-on, thank you! Happy holidays!btw just a small thing, northern air cargo uses the callsign yukon, not northern :)
December 31, 200520 yr If there is a better, more bug free offering from time of release, I want to see it. Paul, Lou and company and all the beta testers have something they can TRULY be proud of.
December 31, 200520 yr >I was hoping a Kelowna repaint would be on that beautiful>727F with winglets. If you mean the Purolator colors, it's coming, I just haven't got the font just right yet.
December 31, 200520 yr Thanks guys.As to Purolator, trust me, you can work off this, even though it is small.http://www.purolator.com/images/logo.gifhttp://www.airshowphotography.com/commerci...CU-030425-2.jpgEnlarge it as required, touch it up, and you're good to go. Take the red color from the logo, not the photo, where it is too dark. ;-)Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
December 31, 200520 yr Plain and simple: The best just got better. That's the simplest way I can put it.This Super is amazing. I'm doing a VATSIM flight right now and this thing is just purring along, M.82 at FL340, like a Mercedes on the Autobahn. Winglets + more thrust = fun!Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia Lewis "Moose" Gregory Durham, North Carolina
December 31, 200520 yr Hey Andras, about the FPS hit... There is none for me. It is by far, the most smooth performing complex airliner I have. I run a modest AMD2800xp(2.1ghz) 1.5 gigs ddr dual ch ram, Nvidia 6800GT AGP Asus A7N8XDeluxe MB, 400mhz FSB. You won't regret it. I also run Win2000pro.Best of luck & Happy New Year.Best regards, Jeff
December 31, 200520 yr Great. I wish it were as easy as the original purchase.Find Key.Asks to reinstall.Point to keyAsks for password. Enter one I think is the password. WrongHave to try again.Press reinstall. Point to key. Enter another password. Wrong again. Try again. Point to key. Enter password. Now informed that key is deactivated because tried to many times with wrong password.Go to F1. Enter order number of 727 to get password. Get message no order number like that. Carefully enter again. Same message.Right.Ok please don't apologize for them. I've used the F1 system for approx. 18 or so purchases. And the reinstall is always the pain in the you know what.I think I'll wait on this until I cool down. Maybe tomorrow or next week send the order number. Until then I'll keep flying that beautiful and effortless (and free) Bac 1-11 by David Maltby.
December 31, 200520 yr the problem with my reinstalls, is I don't remember which credit card I put it on to get the last digits!
December 31, 200520 yr the problem with my reinstalls, is I don't remember which credit card I put it on to get the last digits!Yes and as well I've used the last 4 digits of my telephone which has changed the last year. So I'm left wondering which password did I use. Likely the best thing to do is email the order number to F1 at the outset and get the password you had. Unfortunately in this case the system has not recognized my order number.
December 31, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Just go here https://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=lostorder and enter your e-mail address. You'll a list of F1 order numbers by return email and from this can get replacement keys etc in minutes.I just did a new FS install and had 7 F1 products re-installed in less that 15 minutes without having keys/order numbers etc to start with. The system does work very quickly.http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg Cheers Paul Golding
December 31, 200520 yr Happy New Year to you Paul!!!I don't have the 727 'cos I'm still on 2k2, but I still use some of your freeware stuff and the DF737. If you were in the food business I'm sure you'd be one of Rick Stein's food heroes :-) As it is, you're one of Flight Sim's heroes.Thank you!http://online.vatsimindicators.net/916312/3.png Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
December 31, 200520 yr Commercial Member If the system does not recognize your order number, submit a ticket at http://www.flight1.com/ticket.asp, with that order number or any other purchase info. We can check into the problem. Or, PM me at simforums.com with the info, and I can check into it. Thanks, Steve Halpern Flight One Software
December 31, 200520 yr Why don't you just take a screenshot at the time you purchase the software? Then you have a record of what numbers you used. You keep the .bmp screenshot along with the registration key.Duuh!
December 31, 200520 yr I did a complete reinstall a few mths ago ago and Flight1 is at the top of the list in terms of ease of getting the info needed to reinstall. Totally painless and automated. EDIT: btw, my favorite aircraft just got a lot better. Love the winglets, and there is now a CP Air repaint! Everything about this product is top notch. Congrats to all involved. It sounds like it's been a long haul for Paul but certainly something to be extremely proud of. Congrats!billg
