It's not on my system and neither too is FSX. P3D is my sim of choice and X-Plane so, therefore it is mine to sell. Activation will work as the servers are no longer active to okay it. Are you implying means that if I wanted to use it if I downloaded FSX again I could not? Dave Taylor

How can you sell something you don't own? I am not implying that you could not use it again. Never having faced that situation myself and with no technical support I don't exactly how it would work. I am finished with this thread. Michael Cubine

April 25, 20179 yr Hey, The DVD version was originally sold by Aerosoft GmbH. During installation only a product activation code is required (the setup program requires an inserted original DVD), so there are no troubles with recurrent installation and usage. I love the PMDG MD-11, btw. :-) Best regards, Christian Kelter, Germany Best regards, Christian Kelter

From what I've seen so far it's not very likely they'll actually make one, but we can always try. I wonder how many they need to sell to break even, considering over two hundred people already voted that they're interested - although whether or not they'd actually buy it is a different matter.

PMDG has posted on this matter several times. There is absolutely ZERO chance they will ever revisit the MD-11. I'm sure they are well aware that there is interest in having a new version, but that is not going to change their minds. Polls, and user surveys and "petitions" aren't going to change their minds. I was a big fan of the MD-11, and would buy a new version in a heartbeat - but I know that we are not going to get one from PMDG. That's not to say that another developer won't do it though. In X-Plane, Rotate Sim has firm plans to create an MD-11. Work is already underway. In the P3D environment, probably the best potential developer of a new MD-11 would be TFDI, who already have a Boeing 717 on the market. Pestering PMDG is a waste of time. Those who truly want a new MD-11 would be much better served addressing their interest to someone like TFDI who might be very receptive to tackling the project if enough people want it. September 5, 20187 yr I have a boxed copy of the MD-11 that I bought and have a receipt for. I am unable to load it onto my new computer setup due to "being blocked by administrator". I emailed PMDG support to try to get a work-around for this but have gotten no response (it's only been one day of course). Does anybody know if I am going to be able to download this software that I paid for?
