So, is P3D3 dead?

Featured Replies

P3DV4 is so much better and more stable.

Frankly, I was thinking of deleting P3DV3 this morning creating a load of hard drive space. There's only one thing holding me back – Eaglesoft Citation X. Until I have a proper replacement for that I need to keep V3 just in case I fancy something really fast and high!  It  is so beautiful and I miss it.

Fair enough - I misunderstood you, Ray. I've never gotten to the point of enjoying the Concorde (although it's - if not the, then one of the - most beautiful aircrafts ever built.
Happy flying, Ray! Let's hope, that the Concorde won't be forgotten by FSLabs.

Thanks Anders. It is beautiful and very exciting to fly and with a fantastic flight model. I hope to experience it in v4 so even at FL600 I can see terrain all the way to the horizon - over 200nm away.

Show me the contract

They have abandoned  nothing

Just words. Watch them do backflips if supply no equal demand.

Clearly what LM needs going forward is a big influx of newbies. Without that they only have the old diehards who are not intimidated by the "you must upgrade or perish" silly posts

For the record I hope it's a huge success it can only lead to good things however without demand 64 bit could easy go the way of the doh doh.

I'm not really sure what you mean, to be honest... What contract?!

So far, the five developers have abandoned the development of new sceneries for 32-bit platforms and by that also abandoned the old SDK from FSX and Prepar3D 1-3.

Of course it will be... and in four-five years from now it will be V6...

What's your point?
