I use an I5 2500k at 4.5 ghz with a 980TI card.  My setting are very dense or dense.  Most places are very smooth.  The most troublesome is KSEA which is flyable but does studder.

I find mono vr to be ok If you like huge cockpits and being the size of a toddler) but 3D is fuzzy unless you use the oculus debug tool, and there is a tendency for "judders"

I find VR in 4.1 a great improvement !

Better FPS,more fluid, interaction with the cockpit!

Keep up the good work LM

I am really liking VR in 4.1. Works great. Seems more smooth and I really like the mouse pointer and love that I can use VR in an outside view. Great job LM.

I am really happy with it also. Looks better to me for some reason. A hint of things to come as I hear Xplane will also release a VR update this fall.

So I found out that chase plane can be used with vr in 4.1. I tried it and no problems plus I made several camera sets for each plane. I can move my view to my gns750 and move out with a keystroke for instance. Vr combined with chase plane is really opening up for new possibilities in the Immersion of P3dv4.1

Have not used VR fpr a while, all I need is Oculus installed and it will work in v4.1?

As I've been saying elsewhere, I am really happy with this upgrade for VR. I am getting very, very good performance on a fresh install/new system. As already mentioned, using Chaseplane for cameras/effects/walking mode makes native VR much more useful than Flyinside for me. Good days ahead!

Yes how do you enable the avatar and still have  your plane also? What is passthrough in the drop down window?

This has re ignited my interest in VR!

I have Chase Plane, am going for 4.1 and have been thinking of an OR? The only thing putting me off was the low resolution of the OR, having to lean right up to the gauges or MFDU's? Also how if I need to wear glasses with the OR. I am now short sighted.

Its still a choice between a 4k 43" monitor or an OR?

Decisions?

Well, by walking mode I mean just moving inside the cockpit and also in the outside views. You just need to configure the shortcuts in Chaseplane for that. I`ve read elsewhere that it is also possible to use the Avatar mode, but never tried it personally.

For those of you using the PIMAX that has no forward and back movement, since ChasePlane is working in VR mode so now will Track IR.

Does anyone know how to adjust the zoom in 4.1?
