no jellef it doesn't.

I've disabled Ezdok completely and it still happens.

 steve

Ezdok is on beta and I remember a bug it have were it does not get disabled entirely.

You have to either totally uninstall it or disable the fuselage shakes channel as explained by their developers.

So to summarize possible solutions:

1.  Disable EZDOK and make sure any aircraft.cfg files it modified are returned back to original state (I don't have EZDOK so never tested with it), contact EZDOK vendor and work with them for support
2.  For A2A users, if you use A2A's input configurator (I don't) and have setup axis using that tool then check in with A2A support
3.  Possible issues with FSUIPC and Tiller Steering, make sure you have the latest version of FSUIPC, check-in with Pete D. for support

FYI, a "fresh install" of V4.1 does NOT uninstall any prior aircraft files from 3rd party or any other 3rd party files.  So if you are doing a "Fresh install" you need to verify all 5 folders are deleted AFTER you run V4.x uninstall (please be sure to read Elaine's guide on how to do this).

Cheers, Rob.

I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of 4.1 and deleted the 5 folders following Poppet instructions. All add-ons previously installed in \Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons (aircrafts, sceneries)loaded normally. A2A 172,182, & Comanche still do not work. (ground handling). I do not use EZDOK. I don't have FSUIPC installed. A2A's input configurator does not have a setting for rudder function.

I put totally to the left the fuselage shake (cero shaking) and still cannot manage the turnings... Also the brakes don't work... even the pedals are moved to brake. I think this has nothing to do with Ezdok as other users have same problem and they don't have Ezdok installed (as the one before my comment).

Going back to 4.0 until this mess is sorted out. Lesson learned.

Well my issue was directly related to Ezdok. As P3D was loading and it concurrently loaded I simply closed it before the opening default screen of P3D ever came on. Then loaded up PMDG planes 747 then 737. Problem gone. Same with above noted planes I tested at the beginning of this thread.

I think it may be "back to 4.0" for me too. There's nothing of interest to me in 4.1 that makes this problem worth fighting...really don't care about raindrops on my windscreen. Functional DL would've been nice, though. Maybe better texture loading.

I'm with you, Bill, lesson learned. Every time a P3D update comes around I always hop on immediately hoping for great improvements, and mostly, one gets great heartbreak. I will admit that 4.0 was a pleasant surprise, what with 64 bit and all.

This whole steering issue appears to be a colossal blunder. My testing tells me this is not only an EZDOK issue.

In my 23 years of simming this is the first time I've had with any issues with any sim and updates.

But 4.0 wasn't really an update: it was a new version. We can't expect giant leaps forward with these point updates. Though you always keep hoping something utterly awesome will come along...

So no need to complain, is there? You are one lucky guy. But in all honesty I can't imagine you NEVER EVER had any issues with any sim and updates... You must be the only one. I've been simming for some 30 years now and I've seen trouble with EVERY sim I owned (and didn't own). You tend to forget those problems though once they are solved... Current problems always seem bigger than past and solved problems.

Not complaining, just stating a fact.

I've removed a couple of off-topic beginnings of a personal argument.  Lets not start with the petty squabbling, OK?

Well, guess I won't be going back to 4.0. LM has removed all 4.0 dl links from their site...only 4.1 and 3.4 remain.

Unfortunately, when I originally installed 4.0, I only dl'd and installed the client, but when upgrading to 4.1 I installed Client AND Content. So now I have no way of getting 4.0 Content...that's great.

From Michael Krawczyk at A2A: Reinstalling the sim won't help. We have found a possible source of the issue in 4.1 and reported it to Lockheed.
