Let's face it any product and work to improve our FS experience etc is a good thing for us. Almost feels like a new Golden age for flight simmers so much happening and being worked on, We never had it so good. I'm using P3D along with many different add-ons including PTA  and welcome any new advancements and products it's all good. Good and honest reply from Maxime. May all the work continue, more bricks in the wall, I would try it for sure, choices, choices, it's a great thing.  :biggrin:

Has any one tried EVNTEX I'm new to P3D and jumped strait to V4 and I like the look of EVNTEX.

I've been using ENVTEX for quite some time now and together with URP (Ultimate Realism Pack) the result is really, really good IMO.

Currently I'm only using the cloud, sun and moon textures from ENVTEX and have URP provide the shaders and the sky textures.

Thank you very much guys for your kind comments and your support ! :) really appreciate it.

If some of our tweaks were used without any credits, as I said, anyone who knows how can do it, and as nobody but LM own these shaders, there is nothing we can do, we can only try to protect our work.

Well, wasn't PTA created to manually change the values of Predrag's discovered tweaks that were part of Realism shader pack? 
Doesn't smell especially funny, that's not what was said for the initial PTA release, and you know like me that most of the tweaks are just default values adjusted. Of course shaders changed since that time, but their equivalent are still there, and it's still what we are playing with. Anyone who wants to and has the knowledge can do this with a simple text editor and you know that too.

Let's don't start a fight here, PTA is a masterpiece, but there must be something for those who prefer when things are simple.

Actually he didn't fiddle with Russian but asked me the files on YT and made "Realism shader pack" / whatevered with Donate button.:biggrin:

Sure Maxime, tweaks are not a rocket science and many of them are just variable tuning, but Predrag? Lol.

My apologies if I was wrong about the original finder.
Your first PTA post was a bit confusing though ^^

I'm sure with a bit of learning Predrag could create tweaks too however, I came from nowhere a few months ago and now am about to release Envshade. It looks more like advanced mathematics and logic to me than pure code like c# or these kind of languages that I don't really understand.

@kmax59...are you guys working on getting autogen and vegetation under cloud shadows the correct shade (as the surrounding terrain and shadow brightness).  I've had my last flight in P3D seeing glowing yellow light bulb trees under heavy overcast shadows.  The terrain is very dark in cloud shadows and the buildings and vegetation literally glow with the contrast.  I'll take a break and give it another shot when you release Envshade.  I'm not interested in fiddling with PTA to try to do this and don't know what setting it is anyway.  Oh and this was with the PTAbsolute PTA 'less haze' preset.  But all the presets I've seen are the same and no one seems to know how to blend buildings/vegetation with the terrain properly under cloud shadows.

Did you actually enable the option for buildings and trees to receive shadows...? This is a P3D setting on the lighting tab. Sounds like you didn't do this. If you did something else is wrong because I never see buildings and trees 'light up' unless that option is off.

Thanks Jeroen that was it.  Not sure how I missed that one or if I ever had those selected.  Wow what a preset this PTAbsolute is!

Yes, that preset is totally awesome! The best there is imho. I bought FTX Germany South (and North) a short while ago and didn't like it at all. A few tips for flights on the Orbx forum made me appreciate the scenery more but what really made it shine was this preset! Far more realistic. Without the preset Germany looks dull and flat and the same all over up to the horizon but with the preset, with that blue tint in the distance, the deeper shadows (but not too much of it all) and the slightly more vibrant colors, it all looks just like the real thing!
