March 25, 200620 yr ... can't decide... don't have time to learn both...A choice between more clickology and more realism......doh...I've d/l'd both F1 wrappers, now which to click?
March 25, 200620 yr They are both incredible packages and are state-of-the art for their respective aircraft they simulate. It just comes down to the type and era of plane you want. The 727 uses Steam Gauges, and you navigate by hand. The 767 has LCD's, and modern navigation equipment/computers.I have them both, and don't have the time to learn either. :)Tony
March 25, 200620 yr As a guy who mainly flys GA I recently bought the LD767 and the ITVV DVD.Man I'm loving it. Never thought I would get such a thrill flying a big bird around but it is simply amazing. That being said I do not own the DF727, when it comes out on DVD I just might have to buy it. Al Stiff

March 25, 200620 yr Actually I've owned the LDS for a while and think it's outstanding. Love taking it fom cold and dark to the air. The flight itself is a bit dull will all the technology helping, so I often hand fly at least the climb out and approach (not that the autoland isn't totally cool!) and try to keep to reasonable length routes. So is it a more complete and authentic 767 experience I want, or a authentic hand-flown (navigated anyway) jet experience? Both of course! From everything I've read, both are outstanding. Time limits me to one or the other for a while anyway...Appreciate any further thoughts.
March 25, 200620 yr Commercial Member You may not know this, but with the 767 Edition of FS2Crew, you can start in the takeoff position, at the TOD, or just before push and start.Unlike previous versions of FS2crew, you are not required to start from the begining each and every time.It also comes with an on screen tutorial viewable via the kneeboard, so the learning time has been dramatically cut down from previous versions.Still, it's a tough choice you have. From what I've heard Paul Golding's 727 is a very good plane.Maybe someday I'll do an FS "3" Crew for it!P.S. Watch out for those sinking BC ferries.Bryan B. March 26, 200620 yr Simple just click the FS2Crew for Level-d 767 Only problem is you won't fly anything else...In combination with FS2Crew you are in FS heaven lolOk succes with your choice and have fun...Andr André

March 26, 200620 yr No thinking required, LevelD767 with FS2CREW! Amazing realism, it makes a fantastic AC more Fantasticker! (Yeah I know, it's not a word)

March 26, 200620 yr For what it is worth, when you are pinched for time you can start in the taxi configuration with the DF727. If you like to play pilot with about the most stable big bird on the market, this one is hard to beat.Hard option though, for the 767 is equally fine. They are just two different generations.Good luck:RTH1585368CFI
March 26, 200620 yr Thanks for the info Bryan. I didn't know that. I backed off buying it for the 767 because I was told the learning curve was pretty steep. I'll go take another look.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
