Bloody kids, come in 'ere with their mobile phones and 'apps' and not looking where they're going. Where ARE they going anyway? They look pretty aimless to me.

Oh. Did I write that down? 🙁

While I'm at it, don't you just love those quiz shows when a 20 something get a question about Henry VIII. 'Sorry, that was before my time' Everything was before your time dagnabbit!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

I love how it's expected that you started with some archaic P.O.S. if you're over a predetermined age, to be considered a 'greybeard'.

You're right, Ron - FSX is 12 years old this October! Anyone simming that long is a grey beard. 😉

Haha!
My archaic P.O.S. that I started with was this: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/attachment.php?attachmentid=184643&d=1448261045

Which is well over 12 years ago. In fact, it's nearly a quarter of a century ago - bloody hell, where'd all that time go?!

Yet, I'm not old enough to be eligible for membership of this thread by some distance. Just wanted to say some of us 'youngsters' appreciate the wisdom, wit and 'word not allowed' that you "grey beards" bring to the forums.

For my first flight sim, we used a Digital DECwriter with a 300baud modem.  In the afternoon's, (via our school), we could call into a local corporation's host system.  They allowed an educational timeshare of their resources.  We'd play a game where via command line, you were presented the distance from a carrier.  So at each measured step, you'd have to update your speed, altitude, etc... took forever to land, (just waiting for that DECwriter to finish it's printing).   But at that moment in time, it was a lot of fun!  😄
