I am looking at the sale and ask the same question as the OP. Thoughts? It's mostly "different". I had most of the UTX products, but I got the bug to try Orbx, can't really say how they are different since I never actually compared them to each other. They each have their own idea on how to present landclass. I have not been dissatisfied with either one. South America is a huge Continent and will keep you busy along time. Cities look good and so do the jungle and mountains in you like bush flying in old aircraft. There are a lot of freeware airports available for SA as well. Vic green

November 25, 20178 yr Their OLC products are incredible! I have a fixed PMDG 737, 747, 777 habit and own all the ORBX range, except general aviation airports since I don't use those planes. I am looking at the sale and ask the same question as the OP. Thoughts? They're different classes of products--I use UTX Europe (same class as ORBX Vector) and OLC Europe together. UTX is a vector terrain product--coastlines, water bodies, roads, waterways, rail lines etc, and land class is a digital map that defines the type of land usage for the landscape parsed into small blocks (tiles). November 25, 20178 yr Definitely getting their OpenLC SA product now that it's on sale. Just wish there were version 4 airports for the big hubs down there. Eric
