Hello All!

I just upgraded to a GTX 1080 TI and I am still getting blurries. I've cleared my shadders and still getting blurries. Also, card is only using 60% power, why not 100% ti give me more frames?

Thanks for your help!

A statement like "I have upgraded to a GTX 1080 Ti and I am still getting blurries" is meaningless unless you provide information about:

a)  Your graphics settings

b)  The add-ons used

The blurries may be related to display settings or due to the add-on scenery providing low-resolution textures to begin with.

If the card is only using 60% power, it means that it is limited by the CPU. In other words: The GPU could do more, but it doesn't because the FPS are limited by the CPU in your situation. If you enable GPU-intensive features or settings, you will see the GPU %-age go up.

Addendum: The fact that your GPU usage is not 100% is NOT a sign of a defective video card and/or a defective simulator/system, but that the GPU has decent reserves. If you were to conduct a flight through thick, overcast clouds and unlimited frames, you would more likely see the GPU going up to 100% or below, especially if you have shadows in high quality and dynamic lighting activated. Actually, having 100% load is not a good thing, since this would induce stutters. In the mentioned scenario with thick clouds, the GPU would become the limiting factor, not the CPU.

The airport in the photo is SXM

Ok sorry, I was thinking of another specific airport that has blurry problems related to a texture issue. This does not seem to have any connection with your problem...

what is your cpu doing? is it maxed?  my understanding is P3D is still very CPU intensive. Im  still fsx-se but if you have a way to wipe your config clean in P3D I would start there and start doing circuits in the field in your pic and slowly add tweaks one by on from there

Thanks!

I uploaded some pics of my CPU in my post above.

I wrote this so many times that i lost count already, the problem in P3D v4 with blurrys and slow autogen loading is not GPU related is CPU, in simple terms, the CPU is not delivering as fast as it should be, OC the CPU and lock the frames, and youll see that the blurrys are gone or ate least way less visible.

Thanks, so looks like I need a CPU upgrade as well....But then I would need to switch motherboards as well right? Would you guys recomend the I7-8700k?

Your CPU is not bad, you can try to extract a little more of it, if you want a upgrade, the 8700k is the best bang for you buck you can get now, and yes you will need another mobo, chipset z370.

Thank you again for your help! I really spent a lot of money on this GPU so I won't be able to do any other upgrades for now. With what I have now what do you recommend I do? Performance wise I feel like I could be getting better FPS. Or is my CPU limiting the full power of my GPU?

I would argue that the 8600K is the bigger bang for the buck. In hindsight (to the OP),  upgrading to a 8600k or 8700k paired with a 1070 would have brought the most value for the buck.

To the topic: I just upgraded from a Haswell and would agree with others here that the processor is serviceable and can give satisfactory performance...

Your settings and your system specs look good to me. Do you get blurries at that specific airport, or do you see the blurries everywhere else?  Can you test it outside that airport?

Am not going to get into all the setting you should change but for a start turn off speed trees = Dynamic 3D auto gen veg.

Your maxing out your core 0 that's bad. All down to unlimited FPS and them setting am afraid. You might like all them setting but sadly your PC does not.
