Hi

I´m in for a update of Maddog X for P3DV4.3. I´dont know what version of Maddog I have installed and you need to know that for making a correct update. There seems to be no way to find out version number of your installed Maddog. I have asked in the Maddog forum and can´t get an answer.

No. There is no such information in the load manager. It only tells that it is P3DV4 not what version of Maddog

Just pulled the download from SimMarket and it's compatible with and works fine in 4.3

Thanks for all answers. I have the following text.

Fly the Maddog X - Manager & Setup - Prepar3D v4

With no versionnumber. I have to reinstall and not update.

I only installed the latest version last Friday and no version number in title bar.

Got it from Maddogs forum. But it's the 4.3 version.

I don’t know if the smaller incremental installer will give an error message if you try to update a version that is too old, but if in doubt as to your present version, you can always uninstall the existing Maddog completely and run the full installer.
