New MYNN scenery from ImagineSim is amazing

Featured Replies

Good morning all, It's been a long time coming, but they say that good things come to those who wait! It's nice to see my home airport finally represented properly in FS9(or any version of FS for that matter). Due to the dull default FS scenery for MYNN, I never cared to do many flights to or from Nassau(until now). I downloaded the scenery yesterday, and after a deleting a few of the included scenery objects(static aircraft etc) and modifying the Afcad file to more closely represent the real life parking of the commercial carriers, it was time for testing the scenery. Overall, I am pretty impressed with the scenery, and best of all, the framerates are excellent and smooth. Now, if we can finally get a good quality payware PA 23-250(piper aztec), I would really feel at home.J.C.(MYNN)PPL ASEL,AMEL,Instrument Airplane

Yes I have also been waiting for ANY scenery in this area and a year ago I would be all over it.Just hard for me to spend any more money on my already bloated, over budget, cash vacuum FS9.

If there were ANY decent scenery for MYNN, I'd think about holding off. But there isn't, so I'll buy this afternoon. All I can say is "About time".Bob

I download the demo for this scenery and will see what it looks like later. From the screenshots it looks pretty good. It looks better than the Tropicalsim version.

I'm sure I'll be getting it. I own the IWI scenery and it's a great stopover when flying flights from the US to the Isles of the West Indies!Cheers

I'll have to try this. The Bahamas have been relatively ignored for far too long in FS! (looking forward to the Freeflow addon as well!)

Imagine sims offering is superb. For those who might be interested, FreeFlow will be ofering our rendition of the scenery. It's not quite as nice, but it won't cost anything. It's a very decent representation of what is there with superb frame rates. Imagine sim has done the actual buildings and they are excellent. Our scenery coupled with the AFCAD for it does a very good job of dramatically enhancing the default. We are including an enhancement for Freeport also (MYGF).Hornithttp://x-plane.org/home/hornit/FFmynn.JPG

Im not 100% positive, but it wont be really long now. We are still cleaning up some loose ends and testing. Maybe Scott has a better Idea.Hornit

I hate to set a date, but September is a good bet. That's for the whole package, including Hornit's MYNN...

Well, as most of you probably already know our Bahamas scenery is out. So far we have had nearly 3,500 downloads so we know you like it. Have fun. See you in the islands.Bob
